How people can persist with DJ up front. For me he takes the wrong option too often. Not good enough.

I agree and I'm quite surprised a few people would persist with de Vries, each to their own though.

I didn't want to vote on the strikers. I'm not sure any are good enough and couldn't really choose between several of them anyway. All have their plus points and limitations.

When it comes to the singular task of scoring goals I honestly think Dodds/Hammond, Hammond/Campbell, Dodds/Campbell might have every bit as good a chance as Hume/Fryatt, Cort/Fryatt, Cort/Campbell, or any other pairing.

Dodds/Hammond would trouble any defence and give us some much-needed pace as would Hammond/Campbell which would be even quicker but would miss Doddsy's natural marksmanship.

As for my own criteria of 15 goals per striker I honestly don't think any of the likely choices will manage it. Billy Kee and Dodds might emerge to manage it in time. Don't know about Sappleton.

Weso, King, Clemence for the midfielders. Good balance that.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, sorry had to laugh again. Have you seen Elvis play ? Have you ever seen Dodds play in the championship ???? Imagine if you went down and heard Hume and Fryatt and been dropped for these.

agreed i dont like only 3 midfielders.

had to be hume and fryatt up front as it evidentally works well.

midfield was hard, clemence picked himself and so did weso but the other option was hard, i went for Hayes i know we havent really seen him but based on performances at other clubs and here. i think hel be good.

I picked the same as everyone else, apparently. In hindsight I'm not sure about the King, choice, that might have been a bit of Taff bias. ;)

The other choices weren't too inspiring, mind. Clem and Weso go without saying.
