Guest Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 Go now - look - red thing to the left. Mars. There is the moon. Then there is nothing but a dot to the left. It could be pinkish, it could be white. Is this Mars? I thought it was a star.
Webbo Posted 29 January 2010 Posted 29 January 2010 There's a star to the left of mars but it doesn't look particularly red.

Trav Le Bleu Posted 8 September 2011 Posted 8 September 2011 A rare chance to see a supernova - that happened over 21 million years ago. Peaks tomorrow night apparently, just north of the Plough (Ursa Major to you boffs) - what chance it'll be a cloudy sky? How to see the supernova.

jonno24 Posted 8 September 2011 Posted 8 September 2011 Yes this video is about Creationism v Evolution but there are some amazing facts about space in there even some i didnt know about. The last Fact is one that i am writing about for my degree in Physics.

The last Fact is one that i am writing about for my degree in Physics. That proves nothing other than the obvious. It neither proves the existance of life on other planets, or that we are alone. It doesn't disprove creation, or prove it. It does disporve the stupid creationist belief that takes Genesis as word for word literal and not in any way using simple terms to explain complex ideas to a simple people, the ancient Hebrews. I have no idea why people get so heated about it. But here's thought for evolutionists and creationists alike - all those planets in the `"goldilocks zone". Possibly the future of mankind?
