Bryn Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Can't see a thread, but it won't cost you too much to delete or merge if there is one. Carling Cup quarter-final draw: West Ham v Everton Man City v Spurs Chelsea v Liverpool Blackburn v Arsenal Liverpool at home would have been a good game I reckon. Ah well.

We'd have been number four, because Chelsea are there Everton are number four, meaning we'd have West Ham away. Hard to explain but I think thats right.
MC Prussian Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Hmmmm, all the London teams have been kept away from each other as usual. Hmm... Must've been a fair draw, then...
lcfc_jme Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Gutted. I'd have enjoyed a nice midweek cup-tie on my 18th birthday (provided the game was on the Tuesday) against a Premiership side.
WetFlannel Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Would of been annoying as every plastic scouser i know would have been pestering me to take them to it

ASH17LCFC Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Would of been annoying as every plastic scouser i know would have been pestering me to take them to it Liverpool would had been the worst draw, you'll be getting all the glory fans out and snatching up tickets. Be the odd Liverpool shirt in our end aswell. I hate plastic scousers more then anything.

ASH17LCFC Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 loads of them starting asking me to take them chelsea, i was sickened I hate the Liverpool glory fans the most though, they see the big games on tv and the kop in full voice and think every game is like that They prance round in there liverpool shirt and saying they have supported them all their lifes or there dad supported them. Liverpool is something like a good 100 miles away from Leicester ... Why randomly support them ? Why not stockport ?
Micky Ruddle Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 All ifs and buts about this. IF we had won at Chelski, i'd of preferred Liverpool AWAY for the simple reason of a good day out, a chance to see Anfield, for the first time, which now for me, will be quite impossible, and a priceless experience.

Oh my lord West Ham away im gutted that would of been the shizzle Or if it would of still been liverpool then, meh!
Brainy Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Oh my lord West Ham away im gutted that would of been the shizzle Or if it would of still been liverpool then, meh! I wouldn't mind West Ham away. Another good night out for the fans, plus theres more chance of us winning there than at Anfield.

Yeah I think me and a mate are gonna try and get tickets for a game at Anfield when it doesnt clash when a City game just for the experience of going before they move grounds. West Ham away would have been quality but such is life.

ASH17LCFC Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 We usually do well at Anfield Under MON, Remember when we drew there boxing day 96. We took the lead through claridge and the goal was treated like we had just won the european cup ... They scored right after through Collymore but we held on and it was all over the papers.
