STUHILL Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 I don't think Stuart Pearce would be too bad, worries me about his Man City team not being able to score though, that's the last thing we need at the moment. Still, would prefer to see him here over some others mentioned. Long-shot though.
ASH17LCFC Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 I heard today from a really good source its gonna be Paul Gascoigne.
WetFlannel Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 he would be a good choice but i dont think he would come obviously because of forest connections...
SamL Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 I heard today from a really good source its gonna be Paul Gascoigne. The really good source is.....? Santa Clause? Barber? Derby fan?
SamL Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Wouldn't mind Stuart Pearce but I think the article in the Mercury was just outlining potential managers. Didn't give any particular reason or link anybody to the job. It was just basically the editor saying who he would like to see in the job. Although, I could be wrong?
ASH17LCFC Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 The really good source is.....? Santa Clause? Barber? Derby fan? You'll be Surprise, the guy normally 9 times out of 10 gets it right. The guy has played at the top level and be a very intresting manager and a popular one with the fans and players.

I'm not disputing what you're saying but he's not really that experienced though is he. Why would Milan go for Gazza over someone like Grayson. Jewell etc etc. who have more experience? It seems to me like this would be along the lines of a Walsh/Taggart sort of appointment

Just think how much press we would get. Also Can't see Gazza rowing with Milan over players. Milan loves being on the front page and Gazza being some part of the Leicester set up would be big news. Still the bloke might just be pishing about but he sounded serious.

Does "the bloke" have a name?

Yeah i can see where you're coming from but didn't Milan come out and say he was going to go for experience? I might be wrong. Would prefer him to Royle
SamL Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Does "the bloke" have a name? A friend of a friend's uncle's girlfriend's sister's mother's dog told him
Tevez Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 I heard today from a really good source its gonna be Paul Gascoigne. Please Don't.
Lovejoy Posted 4 November 2007 Posted 4 November 2007 Gazza would be jokes! We can kiss goodbye to promotion though. Will never happen
