lookwhaticando Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 It wasn't 5-4-1, it was 5-3-2 It looked very 5-4-1-ish to me for much of the time. seemed like 5-3-1. To me it looked like 5-3-2 with Matty Fryatt in midfield. 3 - 4- 3 actually !! This club is so far out to sea that we don't even know what fooking formation we're playing. It's no wonder the players looked hopeless, they probably didn't have a much clearer clue than the fans do.
Joe. Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007  What a load of bollocks. We deserve to be in the Premiership? Don't make me laugh.
Head Honcho Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 I am so over Taggart. Rebus is the new king of the cops
Ultra Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 :laugh:What a load of bollocks. We deserve to be in the Premiership? Don't make me laugh. We do deserve Premier League football. I cannot think of any other set of fans who would have shown such patience and loyalty throughout the last four and a bit seasons of largely unmitigated dross. However, stadium apart (which we STILL don't own), there is currently NOTHING at the club which suggests we'll return to the top flight any time soon. The chairman doesn't know what he's doing, the coaching staff are way out of their depth and the players are so full of uncertainty and self-doubt that whatever talent they once had has long since ebbed away. No wonder we're struggling to attract any quality candidates for the manager's job.

Finn Claw Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 The chairman doesn't know what he's doing, the coaching staff are way out of their depth and the players are so full of uncertainty and self-doubt that whatever talent they once had has long since ebbed away. this chairman has spent 2 Million of his own money already this season, we were all impressed by him brininging in Mad Dog. We would have been in administration with -10 points if he hadn't of come. YEs he has made some mistakes but i'd take him over most of the other chairmen in this league.
Raj Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 Forget about Premier League football until we can actually win a few games in this shitty League! Everybody says that any team can beat any other team in this League....well we cant beat ANY fcuking team at the moment And i'll tell you one thing about any team can beat any other team in this league Bet you we dont beat Ipswich at Portman Road....stick that up your 'Anyone can beat anyone in this League'
Trav Le Bleu Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 Were not big, never was big were just an average club with a decent stadium (Thats the carbon copy of about 5 others around the country). If you were to draw out the 4 main divisions of English football purely on average support for that team then we would be in the Premiership - It annoys me SOOOOOOO much that teams like Wigan, Reading, Portsmouth, Fulham and Blackburn get smaller gates than we do struggling at the bottom of the championship! So YES, we deserve to be in the Premier League!
mancunianfox Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 and we've got a chairman who's pretty inept at running a football club who also isn't prepared to spend good money on players or managers. I think thats somewhat unfair given the ability of the last board to move the club forward. This club is so far out to sea that we don't even know what fooking formation we're playing. It's no wonder the players looked hopeless, they probably didn't have a much clearer clue than the fans do. My old man was saying that last night. If we can't tell what the players are doing the chances are its because they don't know either and thats the fault of the management. We have had so many managers in the last nine months they probably don't know if their coming or going anymore.

No wonder we're struggling to attract any quality candidates for the manager's job. I know we have had this discussion on a different thread Ultra so I'll be brief, I think I may have misinterpreted your thoughts before... The Supporters of this Club DO deserve Premiership Football, that I will not argue with at all. The shite we have had to endure for the price we pay should be rewarded... Although many other clubs could and would argue that case.. The Club however DOES NOT deserve to be in the Premier League. The League table never lies and we have not been good enough to achieve Promotion therefore we have not been promoted. As stated before, Potentially we are a massive club with a superb backing. At the moment we are an average club with disgruntled supporters and players that are struggling to cope with Championship football let alone Premiership. We can not live on past success and need to move forward and upward, this next appointment is crucial... Screw this one up and Milan may have damaged our reputation beyond repair.
eaststandtom Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 No team deserves to be in the premiership for a kick off.and we've got a chairman who's pretty inept at running a football club who also isn't prepared to spend good money on players or managers. wha'?!!
