Raj Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 I'll tell you whats happening..... We all know its gone quiet on the manager front, there is a reason. Listen up. As everyone knows Russia play Israel today and if they win that means England will not qualify for Euro 2008. The knives are already being sharpened for Steve McClaren and it will be announced on Sunday Morning that he has been sacked(IF Russia beat Israel that is) We then have a former England manager looking for employment to prove to everyone he wasn't a failure and boring bastard. On Monday,i think it will be 10am,a press conference will be called at the Walkers Stadium to aanounce our new manager, who will be named as Steve McClaren.

Not while Brian Barwick (Chief Executive) is around, McClaren's his little bum boy and can't do owt wrong.
He's not bald Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 Not while Brian Barwick (Chief Executive) is around, McClaren's his little bum boy and can't do owt wrong. Holloway on Monday...you read it here first!!!
Ultra Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 Holloway on Monday...you read it here first!!! His family are settled in the West Country. He's not gonna uproot them to come here, especially after the way he was treated last time he applied.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 My last guess is Raj manager with Big Gilbo assitant (they know the score as it is can't do any worse)
Ultra Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 Here are Gary Lineker's thoughts on the issue.. I’d like to see [Jose] Mourinho but he’s not going to take it. It’s a question of who you can get. They have been linked to some good names who have jobs and others who haven’t and there is a reason why they are not in a job. Traditionally Leicester have gone for an up-and-coming manager, like Martin O’Neill, who has done well in the lower leagues. So somebody like Simon Grayson [blackpool manager and former Leicester player] might be good as he has an association with the club. But the new man [Milan Mandaric, Leicester chairman] has his own ideas and I don’t know if he’ll do that.
Phil Bert Fox Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 Holloway on Monday...you read it here first!!! Got this from The Plymouth Herald 07:30 - 16 November 2007 Plymouth Argyle chairman Paul Stapleton has promised the club's board of directors will continue to support manager Ian Holloway to the best of their ability.Stapleton insisted he and his boardroom colleagues had a 'very good relationship' with Holloway, who is 16 months into a three-year contract with the Pilgrims. His comments come after two stories in national newspapers last Sunday, which speculated about the future of Holloway. One stated the 44-year-old was on a short-list for the managerial vacancy at Championship rivals Leicester City. And another one claimed Holloway had become disillusioned with life at Home Park because he did not feel he was being backed in the transfer market. Holloway vehemently refuted both reports earlier this week, and now Stapleton has had his say on the subject. The Argyle chairman told Herald Sport there had been no contact from Leicester about Holloway. So I guess your right, cos chairmen always say that kind of bollox just before there manager fooks off
Asha Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 I don't like the idea of a foreign manager. Usually with that comes the influx of foreign 'talent'. Would rather have Jewell or Grayson.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 Hoping desperately for Tigana, and don't think that it's beyond the realms of possiblity...
He's not bald Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 His family are settled in the West Country. He's not gonna uproot them to come here, especially after the way he was treated last time he applied. O dear, egg+face I think!!!

smokey Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 I'm genuinely not sure I care who the next manager is. I am uncertain if I have any more 'hope' to invest in this football club. Hope is all I have had to invest now for the past 9 months. It's a bit like a pregnancy in a way. Leicester City being the unfortunate confused girl waiting to spawn some results, unknowing as to who the father (manager) of the child (results) is. Milan is her adopted father. I say adopted losely as the story goes that he got her on the cheap and farmed out her debts to the bidder with the lowest interest rate. So basically we have a stolen, prostituted daughter with a dodgy role model for a step father who likes to interfere in his daughters life. The supporters are like Leicester City's family. We all love her dearly and still support her step-dad despite us knowing that he's a dodgy meddler at heart. The family attend the house weekly to find out how things are going but nobody's telling them who the father is and whether or not he's good enough for the beautiful though "up the duff' Leicester City and the previous suitors that Dad brought round to woo her have been over cocky, clueless and ginger and diseased....(in no particular order) The family are running out of patience and bus fare and are thinking of not visiting as regularly. The question is, as a father, what do you want from a suitor to your precious Leicester Girl. You want him to be creative, economically wise, well grounded, firm, a leader of men........surely you don't want a ginger or a cockney yes-man putting his dick in her? And please before we know who the father is, why would daddy be scoping out toys for him to play with when he doesn't know what he likes? Until Daddy starts to make better decisions my 'hope' is being withdrawn so it can not be damaged further. I will give the new father a chance I just hope that he's direct and flowing and doesn't practice anal as much as his predecessors. N. WHAT A BORING LOAD OF SHITE!!!!
Chairman of the Bored Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Slaven Bilic. The Serbo-Croat link is just what we need. He'll take the job on the proviso that we can import the whole Croatia first X1 and keep them in tip top condition before Ero 2008. So, me hearties. Get yer red and white check scarves and banners out and knit 'em together with yer old City scarves. Croatia til I fry!
