Jonesy_rules Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 Enough is enough people! It's got to stop- and HERE, right now, not tomorrow, not next week, nor next year, but at this very moment, RIGHT NOW! Jordon Stewart, yes i agree played poor under Adams; however that's in the past, we aren't one of those teams that live in the past, we should be looking forward to the future, and Stewart is here for the long term Since C.L has taken over, Stewart's performances have improved drastically, ok, he's still at abit poor at defending, however, he's trying much harder, and also running at the opposite team, which is what we need! Him and Tiatto, are an excellent partnership on the left, and long may it continue! The abuse people are giving Stewart, isn't going to help his performance, it's going to deepen his confidence, and what we need to do is get behind the players as individuals and as a team! If you actually removed the rose-tinted glasses (or in this case anti-stewart) you'd see him actually trying hard! Lay of Stewart and show him your support! I thank You
breadandcheese Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 Well done Jonesy. Couldn't agree more Let's get behind the team for tomorrow. The Forest game is massive. Anything less than a win and we could well be sucked into the relegation battle. Stewart to score first, Leicester to win 2-1
adam Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 stewart is useless, the sooner he goes the better. He loves himself. He cant pass, tackle, cross or head it. he cant even run with the ball now without tripping over it! Stewart out!
Guest Daniel Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 stewart is useless, the sooner he goes the better. He loves himself. 'Let's keep on his side, dont boo or moan about him blah blah' Yeah because that worked for Akinbye...
adam Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 ive had enough of him to be honest. sick of his lack of a abiltiy and lack of commitment!
BartonFox Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 Patronising so and so. I don't need you to tell me how to be a supporter with your code of conduct. I agree that Stewart has improved under CL BUT people remember his arrogant attitude under MA and his dithering over a new contract. Hopefully he won't be here in the summer, but some of the stick he gets he brought on himself. I hope tomorrow no one shouts at him and everyone gets behind him, however I don't feel sorry for him. BTW, Jimmy Willis soon sorted himself out after that Watford game and won MOM at Wembley '94. Akinbiyi falls in to the same catagory as Stewart.
TornadoShaunUK Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 Personally I think he deserves the stick he gets, hes been paid what £8000 a week? He should start fkin earning his keep, if he plays like a sunday league player, he should be paid like a sunday league player. I dont have anything against him, I can see good potential in him, he tries to get on which is what we like to see but he rarely gets anywhere, his passing and crossing is often dreadful - he needs to book his ideas up, or we will be best getting shot of him...
Frenzied Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 I've always thought Stewart's potential was overrated. He's scored a couple of screamers but has no football brain. I agree with the comments about him having his head stuck up his own arse too - the Hyenas wtf. As for booing him, probably not a good idea because not only will if affect him but the other players too. Think we need to leave it up to the management to figure out how bad he is.
breadandcheese Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 What I find confusing is that a lot of people talk about how they have faith in Levein to do the right job and that Levein is moving the team in the right direction, etc. Yet when Levein plays Stewart, and he clearly sees something in him to not have brought in a replacement left-back, you boo stewart. So do you think Levein is making good decisions or bad ones? I trust Levein and back his decision to play Stewart.
Tomassi Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 maybe he is playing him now to try and sell him for as much £Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£ during the summer????
Mark Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 Or because he is actually a decent left back, who gets crucified every time he goes forward. People forget we score a fair amount of goals from his crosses, despite the majority of them being woeful.
Frenzied Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 I think Levein is playing him because of his youthfulness and because of that believes he can coach him into being a half-decent player. He's managed to turn Gillespie, who was deadwood under Adams, into someone that puts in pretty decent performances now.
BartonFox Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 I think CL plays him because he can't afford to have Tiatto in thathere and he has been unable to bring in anyone else. Although Kenton and Maybury have both played their before Morris coming back to 'fitness' ( ) which might help solve our left hand side issues.
TornadoShaunUK Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 Im all for him playing, hes probably the best we got in that position, I just think he needs to start proving hes worth the £8000 or so a week he is being paid...
breadandcheese Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 Are you suggesting that if Stewart was on £1000 per week, you would not boo him?
Solihullfox Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 Are you suggesting that if Stewart was on £1000 per week, you would not boo him? 74518 I don't think he would boo him under those circumstances. We would all be too busy organising the collection for Jordan who would be on the verge of poverty at just a grand a week. Can you imagine trying to cope on that level of income, have a heart.
TornadoShaunUK Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 Are you suggesting that if Stewart was on £1000 per week, you would not boo him? 74518 No, At the end of the day, if a player plays crap near constantly, they can expect bad feeling from the fans. I am saying his performances for us are nowhere near worth the £8000 a week we are paying him. Just think, for that £8000 a week, Leicester could probably buy a whole Sunday League team and get 22 crap players rather than it all bundled into one... He should start showing he is worth the money he is being paid...
Foxes_Trust Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 We should get behind Jordan tomorrow & encourage him to run rings around Curtis. Curtis remember left us 'to play a football style more suited to him" Played 14 games for us & 5 for Pompey - says it all. Its Curtis the boo boys should save their noise for tomorrow

His 'trickery' will confuse himself and Curtis...
