maddog Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 Coca Cola Championship 2007/08 - Outright Selections Odds Watford 11/10 West Brom 3/1 Charlton Athletic 7/1 Wolves 9/1 Ipswich Town 16/1 Bristol City 25/1 Sheffield United 28/1 Stoke City 33/1 Southampton 40/1 Leicester City 40/1 worth a punt? Who knows if we get Tigana in, we may go on a run of 9 or 10 league wins and get ourselves up there
Leicester Lass Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 You'd be better off backing Derby to stay up.
Asha Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 What a waste of a pound that would be Yeah you could go football and with that pound you could get a third of a pint plastic cup of water with 2ml of watered down alcohol.
Brainy Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 Coca Cola Championship 2007/08 - Outrightwe may go on a run of 9 or 10 league wins and get ourselves up there As if.
maddog Posted 17 November 2007 Author Posted 17 November 2007 What a waste of a pound that would be well we are 19 points behind the leaders Watford currently, assuming we thrash Watford easily again at their ground and win out game in hand we will only be 13 points behind them. TBH theres still a long long way to go, we may get automatically promoted or relegated.

I don't honestly count the game in hand (Ipswich away) as a probable 3 points. Bristol City did that and got creamed. We'll be lucky to get a point.
maddog Posted 17 November 2007 Author Posted 17 November 2007 We will win the Fa Cup instead! Get our revenge on Chelsea
Asha Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 We will win the Fa Cup instead! Get our revenge on Chelsea We'll probably draw Oldham at home and lose on replay
MPH Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 we'll lose in the play off final after scraping into 6th place...
Master Fox Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 we'll lose in the play off final after scraping into 6th place... YEAH!!!!! Right'o!!!!.....
Micky Ruddle Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 These bookies are nutters. What chance have we got of getting promotion.
Staf Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 we may go on a run of 9 or 10 league wins and get ourselves up there I wish
Lord Nibblington Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 I reckon we'll easily go on a run of 9 or 10 league games. No probs. Plenty of the season left. Oooh. You said wins? No chance.
lcfc_jme Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 We've not got a prayer. Which is a good thing, really. We're definitely not good enough and if we did happen to make it to the " Promised Land ", we'd be more embarrassing than the Sheep.
Webbo Posted 17 November 2007 Posted 17 November 2007 These bookies are nutters. What chance have we got of getting promotion. We're 40-1 I think that's pretty accurate.

Nath Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 but if we were in the premiership all the players would surely raise their game like against Villa and Chelsea and we would finish comfortably top 15 i rekon. That was cup. Nothing to lose. We are not ready for promotion.
Simi Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 TBH theres still a long long way to go, we may get automatically promoted or relegated. Typical 'maddog' statement.

lcfc_jme Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 but if we were in the premiership all the players would surely raise their game like against Villa and Chelsea and we would finish comfortably top 15 i rekon. yes players like Richard Stearman and Carl Cort would suddenly become good enough to ensure we finished in the top 15 of the Premiership. We'd certainly win enough home games and score enough goals to achieve this. I mean, look at how many goals we've scored and games we've won at home this season!
Leonisco Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 but if we were in the premiership all the players would surely raise their game like against Villa and Chelsea and we would finish comfortably top 15 i rekon. Sorry mate but you're living in dreamland if you think that's true. Yes the players raised their games against Villa and Chelsea but they were one-off Cup games, I doubt they'd be able to play like that week in, week out.
maddog Posted 18 November 2007 Author Posted 18 November 2007 If we were in the Premiership right now i believe we wouldn't get relegated
