ASH17LCFC Posted 20 November 2007 Posted 20 November 2007 The table don't lie though Very true but PLYMOUTH AND BRISTOL CITY ?! I always thought of them as league 1 sides to be honest.
Koke Posted 20 November 2007 Posted 20 November 2007 Very true but PLYMOUTH AND BRISTOL CITY ?! I always thought of them as league 1 sides to be honest. Well, they are not. They get an average gate of 25.000 and are potential Premiership club.

Father Ted Posted 20 November 2007 Posted 20 November 2007 Plymouth Argyle are alright. I don't mind them. I agree they just help us get rid of our crappy managers
Koke Posted 20 November 2007 Posted 20 November 2007 Very good away support considering where they live. Imagine traveling from Plymouth to Sunderland and back again. That's a bitch.

Like Ipswich and the rest of the table actually
Koke Posted 20 November 2007 Posted 20 November 2007 Burnley is our worst bogey team at the Walkers'. I hate them buggers. The entire division are our bogey teams. We can't win for shit at home.
foxtrot Posted 20 November 2007 Posted 20 November 2007 I am very much looking forward to sat.. It will be a good test for the boys against a well established championship club. I would say that on our day we could turn anybody over, but im sure it will be tight. Enjoy the new scenery. See you sat
PAFC Posted 20 November 2007 Posted 20 November 2007 Did you actually go? Yeh, they got Keano a few games after. My first away game, the coach was MURDER.
Bert Posted 20 November 2007 Posted 20 November 2007 Burnley is our worst bogey team at the Walkers'. I hate them buggers. The entire division are our bogey teams. We can't win for shit at home. We've never even scored against Burnley at the Walkers.... Unless you count the disallowed goal we scored, first season at the walkers.

The league table doesn't lie and on current form you'll win by a country mile. Maybe if we get Ollie in, it could give us a kick up the backside. And you know what effect the new manager syndrome has.
Head Honcho Posted 20 November 2007 Posted 20 November 2007 I can't read and I can't write,But that don't really matter. Cos I'm a Brizzle City fan And I can drive my tractor. Grow up for fvck sake Have you ever been to Bristol?

He will certainly get the crowd going. He is not a very liked man down this part of the country due to his links with the gas. We never seem to play well against teams that are having a bit of a shit spell. I predict a 1-1 draw

We never seem to play well against teams that are having a bit of a shit spell. I predict a 1-1 draw I'll take a 1-1 right now. It'll be interesting though, cos if we go up 1-0 then it'll be very very difficult for you to score. 9 men behind the ball and hooooof it up to Carl Cort is our game plan.
ASH17LCFC Posted 20 November 2007 Posted 20 November 2007 I can only remember us playing Bristol twice and both where in the FA Cup. First one was at Filbert St in our great cup run under Taylor I think Cresswell, Sturridge and Izzet scored. Second one was when played the at the Walkers in our first season there. Freezing cold day and i think they brought around 4,000. Elliot and Dickov scoring and i always remember Dickov scoring because Big Trev was on for a tap in untill Dickov ran straight past him and put it in instead.
