lildave3 Posted 27 February 2008 Posted 27 February 2008 Won 2-1. Should of been 5-1. Goalkeeper made one of the best saves I've ever seen on a 5 a side pitch. It must have been very good if it stopped 3 goals
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 February 2008 Posted 28 February 2008 It must have been very good if it stopped 3 goals I was reffering to Matt.
General Smuts Posted 28 February 2008 Author Posted 28 February 2008 Quick roundup. Won 1 Lost 1. Won the one that mattered 3-0, Hat Trick natch. Lost 3-2 to a team that got promoted last season. I was told before the game that one of thier players was, a big fella. He was in actual fact The Big Show. But of Indian decent. if you can imagine that. Kinda like Raj. So it was me against him for most of the game and at one point, with very little effort he picked me up and moved me out of the way so he could get the ball. All i got was a free kick. Comedy. I was told after the game he's on Steroids aswell. That big bastard does not need them. Without exagerating at all he must have been 6ft 3 or 4 and weighed at least 25st. fooking huge. Heres he is pictured with LD3...
lildave3 Posted 28 February 2008 Posted 28 February 2008 I was reffering to Matt. Ah. I heard about it earlier, sounded fairly top draw. And what's this about you playing well? I refused to believe it.
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 February 2008 Posted 28 February 2008 Ah.I heard about it earlier, sounded fairly top draw. And what's this about you playing well? I refused to believe it. Yes I was amazing , for all of the 8 minutes I played before coming off knackered. I need to stop smoking! The saves probabley the best save I've seen in a 5 a side game it was fantastic.

Tevez Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 Love how no-one is bothered about S Wilkes team. Love it son, won 1-0. Still Undefeated. Got coined in the eye aswell, lifes a shitter.
Manwell Pablo Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Raceing club tonight. The evil raceing club. Moaning old basterds, all well past it, all obviously weren't that good in the first place. Rightly relegated from the top league with us last season but unlike us, they've clearly found their level as their second from bottom! The reason we went down last season was our inabilty to beat these wankers, who were the worst team in that league by far. The Raceing Club hoodoo must end tonight!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Cillit bang! Finally after about 35 games, the Fezzler bags a goal. It was my comeback proper tonight (played 5 minutes last week but that didn't count) and we won 3-2 against our fierce rivals Stinky Boots (their ridiculous name doesn't do justice to the nature of the rivalry - these are the ones we had a brawl on the pitch with last season). First win of the season at the eighth attempt! OLE!
Manwell Pablo Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 burton reses player was the differnce tonight, normally he looks a really good player but tonight he was phenominal. Scored a hat trick, we won 3-1 happy days. I was ****ing dreadfull, Foxestalk game dreadfull, ah well .
General Smuts Posted 6 March 2008 Author Posted 6 March 2008 We were so shit yesterday that its taken me a day to write about it. First game - lost 6-2 to a dog turd of a team truly awful performance. 2nd game i played at the back against the top of the league team in a friendly with my mates team - i played quite well and didnt let anyone through and the only goal they scored was from a free kick. I even got 2 assists. 3rd game (in a row i might add) - Was also shit, was against a team that kicked us off the park a few weeks ago, so much so in fact that i still have a bruise on the top of my thigh to prove it. Again they just kicked us about, however i brought on my secret weapon, a self proclaimed gangsta from Brixton, who proceeded to turn around and fight one of them on the pitch swiftly getting sent off. So down to 4 men and with me having to keep goal now, i let in 2 to destroy our unbeaten record. A record of 2.
Manwell Pablo Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 It's Wednesday again! I actually played for them on Sunday (where they were actually about third in the top league) against the team winning the league and we lost 3-0 They were amazing, We were shit. I hit the post, for about the fourth game in a row. Pilgrims tonight, who by the looks of it, are pretty shite so I'm expecting another comfortable win.

Ive got the uni's first team goalkeeper playing for us today . I also have a hangover so we'll see how it goes.
Manwell Pablo Posted 12 March 2008 Posted 12 March 2008 Ive got the uni's first team goalkeeper playing for us today . I also have a hangover so we'll see how it goes. Sorry, doesn't beat Burton Albion reserves left back.
General Smuts Posted 12 March 2008 Author Posted 12 March 2008 Sorry, doesn't beat Burton Albion reserves left back. I used to play for the Leicester School Of Excellence ill have you know! Granted i was 11 at the time and have taken up abusing alcohol since.
General Smuts Posted 12 March 2008 Author Posted 12 March 2008 Superstar keeper made the difference today. 2 wins for the first time in ages. First game we were 6-1 up until the last 2 mins when me and my housemate both gifted the other team a goal making it 6-3. Taking us to within 2 points of the top of the league after my mates team drew with bottom of the league. Brilliant! 2nd game was against our Championship rivals, the Ginger Ninjas. A surprisingly not too bad mannered game with only me getting booked. 0-0 at half time so i took the captains decision to have a stint in goal to give the keeper a run out and the bugger only scored, showing me right up. We won 3-0 in the end aswell with me somehow keeping a clean sheet. Good times all round.
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 March 2008 Posted 13 March 2008 Won 7-0. Scored twice as well which is a turn up for the books. Now six points clear with a ridiculously good goal difference.
General Smuts Posted 29 March 2008 Author Posted 29 March 2008 I miss 5-a-side. I can feel myself becoming an easter egg.
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 April 2008 Posted 2 April 2008 I miss 5-a-side. I can feel myself becoming an easter egg. Your season over? Not played a competive 5 a side game for....ermmmm. 3 weeks, and I think our teak who play in two seperate leagues on two days have had one game in that time which I missed, very pedestrain fixtures. Should be playing tonight against bottom of the league because they never turn up Dynamo tonight, but obviously they may not turn up . They have 4 at the minute apparently (I'm quite good mates with most of them)
lildave3 Posted 2 April 2008 Posted 2 April 2008 Played football last night for the first time in aaaages. Well over a month. Was about dying 10 mins in.

Manwell Pablo Posted 3 April 2008 Posted 3 April 2008 Nah break for Easter as none of us are around for 3 weeks. Start back again on monday. CANNOT WAIT! I think you live for 5 a side. We won, again, 3-1, played quite reasonabley personally but as a team performance it was pretty shocking, good job the the other side are shite. 2 more wins and a draw and we should have the silverware in the bag.

I fooking do! Ive nowt else to live for!
General Smuts Posted 10 April 2008 Author Posted 10 April 2008 Nightmare wednesday to be honest. 2 losers 7-0 to my mates team who brought in Lionel Messi to replace 2 of theier players, he scored 5 and set the other 2 up. I hit both bosts and the crossbar in the game and had one scrambled off the line. Which is nothing compared to the second game that we drew 3-3. I scored a penalty to draw it level to 1-1 and then set up 2 to give us a 3-1 lead at half time. I then preceded to hit each post twice the bar twice and the keeper turned into Kevin Poole or something and pulled off some of the most ridiculous saves ive ever seen including a pop shot screamer of mine fromthe half way line that on any other day would have sailed in that he tipped onto the bar in the most hollywood save ive ever witnessed! We went on to draw 3-3. Third game was against the team with the asian Big Show again. Scored once in the first half to leave us trailing 3-1 at HT. I then went in goal and kept a clean sheet and got 2 assists from throw outs to make us win 4-3. Odd day to say the least but now i ache like a bastard.
