Thought i'd add my input to this 5/6-a-side thread. There we are, mighty MK Dons. We beat top the other week to stop their 15 week unbeaten record. They didn't like it at all. We've been sitting 4th all season after a very poor start to the season, losing several key players and losing 7-0 by a bunch of ringers. We've got Iran tommorow (Noddy Solano's team) They aint bad side, but it's a game we should win and boost our chances off going second with 3 games to go. Bit of a big ask though. (TnT are Tommeh's Team, Scored 6 hahaha )

Out of 8 teams we're currenly 7th but I'll put it down to it being our 1st season and the fact we joined 3 games in. 3 games which by default we lost 5-0.

Tevez is desperate to snap me up on a free at the end of the season but he needs to realise I have loyalties elsewhere.

I've gotten similar responses when ive played in goal before, but your only as good as your defence and my teams defence is piss poor.

Season finale tonight, after leading the league for the first 5 weeks of the season (out of 14) we're now more than likely going to get relegated this evening.

Expecting a couple of pastings today.

None of my team can play. Myseriously 3 of the ipswich fans have pulled out. The bastards and im gonna have to play in goal as is.

I will have to ay about a tenner foe the privalege aswell.

Won 4-2. Had by far my best game of the season so far, I was our defender and we kept a clean sheet for the 25 minutes I was on the pitch, made lots of interceptions, blocks and decent distribution from the back. Even notched up an assist with a delightful floated corner for our first goal. Hopefully back to form. Been dreadful the last four or five games.

As far as the team goes, it was 0-0 at half time and a few words were said at the break. :laugh: Then we went 2-0 up, then our keeper rolled it straight to their striker for some bizarre reason followed by one of their defenders running the length of the pitch and no-one thinking to tackle him before he let fly from 12 yards into the bottom corner. Thankfully we pulled it out the bag thanks to one defensive mix-up on their part and a decent fourth goal.

Waiting on other results but could be in the promotion places now with a game against our closest rivals next week to come. We've actually won five and drawn one of our last six games. Incredible stuff really.

Eventful 5-a-side day today. Instead of having to play in goal yself i rang up the missus' brother to givev us a hand cos he used to be a half decent keeper so im told. Well in the 1st game he was a bit shaky and let in a couple of soft goals but i was banging them in down the other end to make up for it however we eventually got turned over 4-3.

2nd game hoewver all hell broke loose, we won 6-3 (2 more goals from me) but for thier 3rd goal my missus' brother dived and somehow changed directiion in mid air causing him to land with a large crack on his ankle, so that was us off to A&E for the afternoon. Turns out it was just soft tissue damage which should right itself in 4 or 5 weeks but the poor fella was in agony.

Im still in form though, just wish my team werent so shit all of a sudden!

Used to play regularly at goals and freemans common but couldn't do it all and still manage 11 aside on top. Can be an expensive game too.

I prefered Freemans Common myself, you know where you are with Des and Phil.

I used to train Tuesday nights, play Saturday mornings, Sunday mornings, and Sunday afternoons.

Then i met this bloke called Injury.

Now, when i get back, I'll still play the same without the Sunday morning, until next season, when i'm joining a new team, then I'll be back to 4 times, maybe 5 times a week if i go down goals on a Monday.

I play at St. Margarets Pastures on a Sunday afternoon.

Lost 4-2 tonight to the third-placed team so we're back down to third. Frustrating night, bitterly cold and went 4-0 down early on. Their keeper made about 10 wonder saves and we only pulled two goals back through him wandering upfield and leaving an open goal and then we scored a penalty. Everyone was poor. Bollocks.
