The Stig Posted 30 November 2007 Posted 30 November 2007 I was quite optamistic about this game, however I'm now going to it, and as you can see from my sig we've been less than successful at home games I've been to this season!
Simi Posted 30 November 2007 Posted 30 November 2007 I remember Kelly's first game against these. My word that was a poor game, getting dumped out in the last minute certainly didn't improve things much either.
Thracian Posted 30 November 2007 Posted 30 November 2007 Went down there last season. The only thing worth remembering was the cracking breakfast we had at a little place on the other side of the bridge south of the ground. Football wise we got a right tanking. My middle son's a Southampton fan and will be over for the game. He says they're the most frustrating team to support - brilliant in attack and woeful in defence. I cannot imagine our forwards making any defence look especially bad but a third successive clean sheet would be some achievement. As usual I'll continue to have faith in City and say they'll win 3-2. One of the centre-backs will score from a set-piece and another will be someone's first senior goal of the season. I sometimes get around 375-1 betting on a score like that and McAuley scoring and I shall persevere. I've always taken the view with football betting that, if I'm going to win it'll be a chunk worth having. I remember when Heskey played for us putting a wedge on him to score the first goal and City to win 1-0 and collecting enough to pay for my season ticket that year. It'll be a longer wait for the 3-2 but when it comes I'm going to enjoy it.

Staf Posted 1 December 2007 Posted 1 December 2007 I am going to change my mind and go for a 1-1 draw
