Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 It's not negativity. I think suggesting we're going to beat Southampton 3-0 is a little bit disrespectful. So we should always concede a goal out of respect for the opposition? Or should we hold back our strike force because of deep-seated admiration? I was merely setting the bar high, nothing more. If you set the bar high and finish just a bit lower, then the result is still a good one! No disrespect to the Saints at all, I just want City to win all their games 3-0!! Whether we do or not is a matter for the football pitch!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 What did I tell you? I'm a curse. We don't win when I go!Which is gutting 'cos I'm going to this, too. Anyone know a good exorcist for Finn?

You may as well say we're going to beat them 9-0 then argh I dunno why I bother.
Finnegan Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Anyone know a good exorcist for Finn? No need, just slip me a oner and I'll stay away.
Daz.I Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 They have the worst defensive record in the league letting in 5 goals to wednesday and preston so sure if them to can do it we can. come on you bluess !!
Jack Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 They have players that can score goals like Rasiak, John, Saganowski & co but i believe we can contain them with Kisnorbo and Big G'Mac at the back and Fulop doesn't like he will be beaten easily, so it should be a good match and hopefully we can get all 3 points this time
Fox in a Box Posted 27 November 2007 Author Posted 27 November 2007 Josh Low? I'll leave it there as there are more but I think that makes the point. What's your beef with him? Has he done you a dis-service in some way & this is your petty retribution? No he is just GANK. I have seen him at close quarters and doesn't offer anything new to us
Fox in a Box Posted 27 November 2007 Author Posted 27 November 2007 If you take the letters of Jonathon Hayes, take some letters away, add other letters in, mix them around a bit you get - I Hate Fox In A Box. Trust me, it's personal alright! Die quietly.
ASH17LCFC Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 What? You may as well say we're going to beat them 9-0 then argh I dunno why I bother. Saying we are going to win 3-0 is like saying the war in Iraq will end with Bush hanging from a chessnut tree why getting pelted with Rolling stones CD'S.

ASH17LCFC Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 And like City winning 3-0, that would be both just and fair! In a perfect world both would happen but i just can't see us winning at home and Bush hanging from a chessnut tree.
SamL Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Fryatt Appeal News Matty Fryatt will begin a three-match suspension this weekend after the Club failed in their bid to have his red card against Bristol City overturned. The ban means that Fryatt has now been ruled out of upcoming fixtures against Southampton, Burnley and West Bromwich Albion.

Just paint his face black and tell him to play sh it and we could play him in the guise of Elvis Hammond. Failing that, we could just play Elvis Hammond. But I would have to throw myself off a bridge.

Manwell Pablo Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Stephen Hughes? Ade Akinbiyi? Stephen Hughes was probabley worth what we payed for him.

You really are a tart.

Bryn Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Fulop Kenton* McAuley © Kisnorbo MattockStearman* Wesolowski King SheehanHume* Chambers*Subs; Henderson, Hayes, Clemence, Odhiambo, N'Gotty * Taking into account Fryatt's suspension and assuming J. Chambers, Campbell, John, Cort, McKay and Kaebi are injured. I doubt Clemence will be dropped but King offered more for me. I don't want Newton to play and with the absence of so many forwards I feel Hume is required up front. Stearman sounded adequate at right wing on Saturday so start him there, but we've plenty of options on the bench if we need to change him. Kenton deserves a start. Chambers is the natural choice now, considering the absences, to partner Hume up front IMO. With the other injuries now would have been as good a time as any to give Kaebi a run from the bench but he's probably unfit, and I still would have liked to be able to call on McKay, I really want to see him play, but Odhiambo will do just fine.
harpendenfox Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Given that we have eight games in December, and that DJ and Cort managed to get injured in the two week break , that Collins John seems a tad injury prone, and that Fryatt now misses three in a row, might it be worth bringing the Deep Freeze back from Leeds? I'm not claiming he's great, but he did play some decent football earlier this season, and we could do with some cover at this moment in time.

It would make sense, even if he didn't start he gives us some sort of back up which we don't have at the minute. Also he could be useful to chuck on with 20 minutes or so left to cause the opposition a few problems.
