Father Ted Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Fulop Stearman Kisnorbo N'gotty Mattock Newton Kenton Wesolowski Sheehan Hume Chambers (if Cort, Dj or John are not back) Subs: Hendo, Mcauley (dropped because he is a liability to the team, poor control, too slow.), Hayes, Clemence (see Mcauley), Sappleton
Joe. Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Bring 'em on I say. I'm confident that things are looking up for us. Bring on January and some decent midfielders and we can maybe go somewhere productive. As for Saturday, Southampton will still be a tough match despite their league positioning. They still have a talented squad and can pose as much threat as many of the top sides. However I think we can take this one, if we play like we did at Bristol or the glimpses shown against Cardiff we will create the chances. It's just a matter of converting them...
Father Ted Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 what pic?Fulop Stearmonkey Kisnorbo McAuley Mattock Hume Weso Clemence Sheehan Campbell John Subs: King, A. Chambers, anyone but Hayes, N'Gotty, J. Chambers Hayes is garbage, worst signing for a long time fat and can play football. He offers way more than any other of our wingers. Excluding Sheehan (when playing there) and Hume (see sheehan) When he came on he caused problems and whipped in some real dangerous crosses which Hume nearly scored from.
Joe. Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Oh, and I'd like the team to be something like this: Fulop Kenton McAuley Kisnorbo Sheehan Hume Weso Clemence Hayes Chambers Sappleton I would not like to put Newton on the right wing, he's just not good enough. That only leaves Hume as a capable player in that position, and on the basis he's been fairly poor up front last two games I wouldn't mind seeing Chambers and Sappleton have a chance.
David O'Leary Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Stephen Hughes was probabley worth what we payed for him. Did we get him on a free?
maddog Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 We always have good games against Southampton. Our 1st home game in a prem season comes to mind when we were 2-0 up and drew 2-2 And think we beat them 3-2 last season. I anticipate another exciting game and a 2-0 Leicester win especially with Fryatt not playing we may actually score at home

I anticipate another exciting game and a 2-0 Leicester win especially with Fryatt not playing we may actually score at home Do you actually go to games or do you just think somebodys shit because everyone else says they are? None of our strikers are perfect and all have their good and bad points. But slowly but surely Fryatt is improving. He's starting to put the effort in but just needs to concentrate more. When he's done the hard work of dribbling 20 odd yards, he needs to look up and pass to somebody instead of giving it away. Lay off him. What is getting on his back going to do? Give him a break and maybe Ollie can bring the best out of him
Fox92 Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Southampton at home is usually a big one with lots of goals.

Simon Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 And you base this on 45 minutes and his cameo against Blackpool. You really are a tart. And the fact that Hayes was actually pretty good last night anyway and he's an utter tool for the rating he dished out for the player... I see no point in writing out a team for Saturday yet as I'm not sure about the injury situation right now. Am looking forward to the game after last night. I'm not going to say anything like 'we've turned a corner' but we appear to be moving in the right direction. There's still a long way to go and I'm not going to get too excited as there has been too many false dawns, but heres hoping.
ronnup Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 don't change it I say, apart from that ridiculous Lizard creature we had on the right. Stick Hume there and start Chambers/Sapplton
ibbosuk Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 It's not negativity. I think suggesting we're going to beat Southampton 3-0 is a little bit disrespectful. Disrespectful ? you dont know the fooking meaning of the word if it jumped up and bit you, you PLEB(NOOOOOBB!) NOB OF THE PLEB UGEEEE!!!!!!!! GO BUY A NEW FACE MAN!!!
Messi Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Fulop Stearman Kisnorbo McAuley SheehanHume Clemence Wesolowski HayesKingFryatt I don't think he'll do it cos he's strictly 4-4-2 but I'd like to see King play in behind Fryatt. He would win balls in the air and he can also play a killer pass. Hayes and Hume would support with pace. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off down the Swan for a Barbar's. Fryatt is suspended for the next 3 games buddy

GO BUY A NEW FACE MAN!!! Jesus Shwepps. what the fook is happening to this place. do one with this sort of drivvle please, there's dumbing down and then there's taking stupid comments and drilling a massive hole in the floor with your presumably strange shaped head and then burying this website underground under a fooking mountain of twats and ruining what is often an insightful and humurous web site. In other words mate. You're a cock.

Don't know why, but I found that hilarious  there's dumbing down and then there's taking stupid comments and drilling a massive hole in the floor with your presumably strange shaped head And this
Thracian Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 It's sounding serious on the striking front. If we have no first team regulars available I'd perhaps try to recall Louis Dodds. The guy should be fit having been pretty well an ever present for Lincoln and would have no trouble cogging in with anyone else who's available. Dodds/King; Dodds/Hume; Dodds/Chambers, Dodds/Campbell if the latter is available.

MC Prussian Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Southampton have the worst Defence in the leauge and we have the best! We also have one of the worst attack formations in the league. Southampton's got one of the best. Both sides have a list of injured or suspended players. I can't see more than another (albeit entertaining) draw coming out of this, regardless of the Holloway Train.
Staf Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 I was talking to my mate who is a southampton season ticket holder and he said they are shocking at the back but going forward they are quality he said that if Stern John had some pace he would be a premiership striker
