Fox in a Box Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Can we really expect a rare home win? (as DavidG put it) 4pts from 6 is good but 7 from 9 I would be over the moon .....were coming into the fixture congestion and were getting a little bit of form hopefully.

I anticipate that it is too early for me to start anticipating about saturdays game. maybe thursday i will start anticipating. Hope we win though!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Fulop Stearman Kisnorbo McAuley SheehanHume Clemence Wesolowski HayesKingFryatt I don't think he'll do it cos he's strictly 4-4-2 but I'd like to see King play in behind Fryatt. He would win balls in the air and he can also play a killer pass. Hayes and Hume would support with pace. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off down the Swan for a Barbar's.

Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 3-0 City. Another clean sheet and the strikers getting more positive.
Phlashman Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 If I remember right last year their keeper was a bit gaff prone. Are they still playing the same one? If they are and on last nights form I'd fancy us putting a few past them.
SamL Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Leicester City fans look set to be out in force once again when the Foxes take on Southampton at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday. An astonishing 27,246 supporters saw Ian Holloway's men battle out an entertaining 0-0 draw with Cardiff City on Monday evening - the club's biggest crowd of the season to date. And the visit of George Burley's Saints this weekend will undoubtedly bring the fans out in their numbers once again as the Foxes look to continue their surge up the table. Ollie said: "The supporters were magnificent on Monday evening. I had a bit of a lump in my throat I tell you. I had the old flutters in the stomach, which is great. I was excited. "It was marvellous. What a night. I thought that the commitment from everybody was absolutely top drawer. "I told the players before the game that it's not rocket science - football is a very simple game. If your fans see you working hard and caring then they will get behind you. "Where does it all start? Does it start in the crowd or on the pitch? I think it starts on the pitch with your effort. You are playing for that shirt with passion and I saw that all around the ground on the night. What more could I have asked for?" http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lates...1177103,00.html
Manwell Pablo Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 3-0 City. Another clean sheet and the strikers getting more positive. Meanwhile Southampton just sit there and watch I presume?
SamL Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Our home game against these last year was ace. 2 corkers from Humeeeeeeeeeeee but the away fixture well, it was shocking to say the least. It would be nice to see a win. We were unlucky last night with some of our chances which on another day, would go in. The team I'd like to see is : Fulop Chambers (If fit)/Stearman Mcauley Kisnorbo Sheehan Hume Clemence Weso Hayes Fryatt? ( Whats going on with his suspension? ) Chambers/Dj (If fit) Subs : - King, Kenton, Mattock, N'Gotty, Kaebi It was nice not to see a keeper on the bench last night.

I don't think Hayes is ready for 90 minutes yet so I'd start with Mattock/Sheehan on the left. Sadly with Fryatt's suspension there's no chance he could link with King. Unfortunately too the Barbar's is off til they get rid of the beer from the festival!
Wycombe Fox Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 A win for City would give me a chance to shut my Saints mates up down here! Assuming fitness and Fryatt suspended; Fulop J. Chambers Kisnorbo McAuley Mattock Hume King Clemence Sheehan Campbell John Subs: Wesolowski, A. Chambers, Hayes, N'Gotty, Kenton
Raj Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off down the Swan for a Barbar's. Whats the Swan for a barbars?
Kilworthfox Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Southampton have the worst Defence in the leauge and we have the best!
Raj Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Barbar's is off til they get rid of the beer from the festival! Eh?
Manwell Pablo Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Southampton have the worst Defence in the leauge and we have the best! Yet distrubingly they're still above us.
Fox in a Box Posted 27 November 2007 Author Posted 27 November 2007 i love your picture what pic? Fulop Stearmonkey Kisnorbo McAuley Mattock Hume Weso Clemence Sheehan Campbell John Subs: King, A. Chambers, anyone but Hayes, N'Gotty, J. Chambers Hayes is garbage, worst signing for a long time fat and can play football.
Kilworthfox Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Yet distrubingly they're still above us. I know!
Koke Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 I'm a bit optimistic about this game. It wasn't long ago that Southampton lost 5-0 and 5-1 to Sheffield Wednesday and Preston respectively. And both teams are rather poor this season, no disrespect to them. So this game is there for the taking. Not sure if Hayes is ready for 90 minutes, but if he is I'd throw him in at left-wing. And Sheehan at left back. And I know I'm being very bold but I'd drop either Weso or Clemence in order to to accommodate Andy King. Most likely Weso I suppose.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Whats the Swan for a barbars? Only royalty are allowed to eat swans... Barbar is the son of the Elephant king... mystery solved!!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Meanwhile Southampton just sit there and watch I presume? Is there a "Manwell's Negativity Taxi" scooting around somewhere? Scratch that... I know city fans, he's gonna need a cruise liner

I'll leave it there as there are more but I think that makes the point. What's your beef with him? Has he done you a dis-service in some way & this is your petty retribution?
Manwell Pablo Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 Is there a "Manwell's Negativity Taxi" scooting around somewhere?Scratch that... I know city fans, he's gonna need a cruise liner It's not negativity. I think suggesting we're going to beat Southampton 3-0 is a little bit disrespectful.

If you take the letters of Jonathon Hayes, take some letters away, add other letters in, mix them around a bit you get - I Hate Fox In A Box. Trust me, it's personal alright!
Finnegan Posted 27 November 2007 Posted 27 November 2007 What did I tell you? I'm a curse. We don't win when I go! Which is gutting 'cos I'm going to this, too.
