Scarby Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 I know a few of you are little wizards on the computer. first ill explain, im organising a rally to Athens. It will be taking place next year (July 2008), and will take approx 3 weeks. The plan is too buy a cheap car and drive it to Athens, through as many countries as you can, leaving your car in Greece. my mate has done a basic website for me. http://www.leicestertoathens2008.co.uk/ but i was wondering if any of you can do a simple logo/banner for me. all i would like it to include is: Leicester to Athens 2008 and maybe a picture of a leicester landmark (clocktower) and a Athens landmark over a map of Europe or something. The logo might have to be replicated on to stickers that go onto cars so the simpler the better. If you can help it would be great. Scarbs and if you want to take part in the rally there is a group on facebook i made (search leicester to athens 2008) you must be 18 to take part.

I'm no help whatsoever with the logo (well, tbf, I could be but hugely busy at the mo... if you don't need one before next week, I'll give it a go then... if you like?) but.... Massively interested in the rally. Have checked the website but it just says 'leaving in July'... when in July??!!! Please tell me it'll be after the 4th. I've not checked Facebook yet tho... that probably gives me more info. I'll shut up and look properly! PS... anyone else on FT interested? A FT team/teams perhaps?

Can you map read.... change CDs (change tyres, more to the point!)... do anything useful whatsoever?

What about a gumball style logo with the Leicester/Athens text in a very simple circle http://diigmaa.files.wordpress.com/2007/04/gumball-logo.jpg It would work well in both full colour (for website and print) and 2/4 colour for stickers.
