Joe. Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 But mate, the "Blue Army" were "On the march" to Hull.An astounding 800. Ched advise me (even though I know your answer). Do I come to this game? I'm not feeling it. But I've missed too many of late
Sods Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 But mate, the "Blue Army" were "On the march" to Hull.An astounding 800. The amazing 500 will be there on saturday. Think this is the time to start singing songs about old players. Get it into the current crop what they could be. 12 days of christmas?
Guest Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Lisa you should think very hard about that one. I've not met anyone with as loyal an attendance record as yourself. Why is a very relevant question! I keep on asking myself that. Yeh Lisa i saw you at Ipswich you were next to me at the top right, you didnt look very happy at all.Didnt see you yesterday though. I don't reckon she went. Yeh she did, she came and sat at the top right in the second half. I meant yesterday. She must of I bloody well wish I hadn't. Note for Fludie; I did sit, on my own, at the back, for the majority of the 2nd half at Ipswich. Please play along with this thread for comic effect. Please?
Floating Fox Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 I can't believe some people, in that other thread, saying that the players should come over and clap us, erm we're going to take about 600 to a local away (On a fookin satdee as well), that is not good support, and we wont make any noise. Great support we've got.

Its on Sky remember. And its Christmas time as well. I'd rather watch Wolves from my couch and then go to QPR on New Year's day. Its all about priorities at this time of the year.
Simi Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 I reckon I'm going to go. Yes. I like this attitude.
Wilkesy Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Aint going to bother with this one, officially the worst away atmosphere of last season because of where they put the away fans, unless its changed for this season?

Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Actually. I don't think I'm going to bother. I'm going to stick the £45 it would have cost me on a Wolves win and pay for QPR with the winnings.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Good idea. How did your bets go last weekend? Utterly shocking. Lost £120, three-quarters of which was on Forest contriving to concede two goals at home to Northampton. Less said the better really. Decided to back the draw in our game, veering away from my trusty policy of backing our opponents. Again... less said...
kidder_wolf Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Ive got a season ticket but doubt il go. We have been shockingly poor all season and have lost interest right now. Its on sky so il go down the pub. Fez put your money on a draw we wont win.
Thracian Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 If City perform anything like they did at Hull it'll be like watching a public execution. Noisy at times but a bit sad really. I'll undoubtedly follow the Scowey route and I would have spared a thought for the likes of Hullfox cos, whatever our differences, I've always admired his stoicism and commitment. But Hullfox seems to have cried "enough" for now and I feel the same. Not because of the result at the KC because I quite enjoyed the Blackpool and Cardiff games when we failed to score. It was the sheer misery, frustration and helplessness of watching an old friend apparently losing the will to live right in front of my eyes. The friend's become distant now and its soul - once so bright - seems long gone. But for some reason that didn't make it any easier. I wish I'd stayed in the pub on the docks and took longer over a wonderful Humber Pie. But I didn't and now I don't fancy following that bad decision with another one - by going to Wolves. Reserves or Academy matches have long done much to serve as an antidote to first team woes but even they've finished for the time being. It's shaping up a bleak, bleak Christmas and precious little prospect of changing the mood.

I know it's sh*t, but the best way to avoid feeling low about it is not to bother going as much. Especially away games! After four long years of it, i'm surprised people haven't learnt to deal with the disappointment. I'm as angry and pissed off about how sh*t the team is, but try not to let it get you down. Not worth it.
Floating Fox Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 How do you pay for it then? Becasue I used to have a well paid job, or very well paid job for a 16-18 year old. And, I get EMA  EDIT: Oh, and I can still pass for under 16's, which kinda helps I guess.
Koke Posted 17 December 2007 Posted 17 December 2007 Don't give me that excuse. I dont have a ****ing job, and i'll still go to both. Well, good for you. I can attend Wolves but chose not to, as I'd rather splash the money on some New Year mayhem and then QPR and possibly Southampton as well. Oh and its on Sky.
