davieG Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Completely understand, davieG.It's just the attitude of some of our fans that gets me. I admire your dedication, been there but cynicism sets in when you feel your support is being taken for granted and when money gets tight. When people say 'what's the point' that's mostly born out of frustration and many will still turn up.
Anish Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 When we're getting beaten every week by the likes of Hull then there's not much incentive to go and support the team. They've been playing shite whether there's 20,000 fans supporting them or 2,000. I've become disillusioned with the state of the club and I'm not going to travel up and down the country to get angry, frustrated, annoyed and dismayed by what I see. We're a shambles - it doesn't make any difference how many fans support the team if they can't even do the basics right (and that includes the management and the players).
filbertway Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Go and watch coalville then watch LCFC in the pub, beats going to a Leicester match any day of the week.
Staf Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Im going to this one but i wish i was watching it in a pub
Wycombe Fox Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 I'll tell you the best way to watch it and any other City game at the moment - BLINDFOLDED!
WetFlannel Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 just because we play pub team football doesnt mean we are playing in the pub
fludie Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Why do I keep on putting myself through this torture, week after week?Sober? Yeh Lisa i saw you at Ipswich you were next to me at the top right, you didnt look very happy at all. Didnt see you yesterday though.
McFoxy Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Erm, to get behind your team? To support them through a bad match.Or are you just going to wait til we get a good squad? Not a personal attack on you Matt, but just don't see why people say "what is the fooking point". There is always a point. I personaly am just going to wait till we have a good squad. I don't have so much money i can give it to a bunch of wasters.
Hullfox Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Yeh Lisa i saw you at Ipswich you were next to me at the top right, you didnt look very happy at all.Didnt see you yesterday though. I don't reckon she went.
fludie Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 I don't reckon she went. Yeh she did, she came and sat at the top right in the second half.
Matt Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Erm, to get behind your team? To support them through a bad match.Or are you just going to wait til we get a good squad? Not a personal attack on you Matt, but just don't see why people say "what is the fooking point". There is always a point. Fair play to you and the many other hundreds who week in week out follow them home and away, this season I have gone to a few more away matches than I have in past seasons, I was actually considering going to this one, but recent performances, results, just think why should I? You say to support them through a bad match but it just sums it up when the players play like the did yesterday and only 3(?) of the players actually clap there fans, actually show there appreciation of support (I wasn't there yesterday, but that's exactly the type of thing that makes me glad I didn't) it wouldn't have made a bad loss or performance and better but atleast it would show or atleast thank fans for the support. These players just don't care. Simple. Besides I saw the Wolves fan (My next door neighbour today) and he said "I'm not taking you either...You know what happened last time I took you to Wolves" To be honest I don't know what happened the last time he took me to Wolves! When I was first getting into football he took me (With my dad) and I have in my mind they were playing Port Vale...Perhaps they lost i'm not sure :dunno"
Jay Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 I think the best way to watch this game is from behind the sofa it's the only option really
Floating Fox Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 I tells ya, if I couldn't get a meal deal I wouldn't be going either. Don't know why I bother, just out of hope. The pain is always higher than pleasure though btw, I'm predicting a win.
Hullfox Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Yeh she did, she came and sat at the top right in the second half. I meant yesterday.
Mikey Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 I personaly am just going to wait till we have a good squad. I don't have so much money i can give it to a bunch of wasters. Wait... You are joking ain't ya ?
Koke Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 1) We'll get anal raped by a pretty good Wolves side and 2) Its ridicolously cold out there, blimey. Therefore I'll be watching this from my comfort zone on my couch with my drinks.
WetFlannel Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 I'll tell you the best way to watch it and any other City game at the moment - BLINDFOLDED! that wouldnt be watching them then
Joe. Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 I don't know whether to go or not. I've missed a few away games recently so I'm thinking go. But on the other hand, it's going to cost me money I don't really have, we're playing awful at the moment and it's on Sky. Hmmm.
Koke Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 I didn't plan to go to Ipswich and thank God I didn't. I was supposed to go to Hull but I got let down by some people and lack of transport meant I had to stay at home. I refuse to go to Wolves after the fiasco at Hull. I'm going to Ipswich & Charlton at home as well as QPR away on New Year's day. You gotta plan this shit out otherwise you'll end up broke + watching and cheering on a bunch of no hopers.

Sods Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Im up for this, mainly down to cheds thread! But i tell you what would be good, is if we took an away support like an army. Getting behind the lads non stop. I think times like these is when the support is needed most. Im going and i hope to meet other leicester fans to wish them a happy christmas. People need to calm down, were not down yet This happened last year exactly the same, actually i think we have a better squad this year. Come on you blue boys.
Simi Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Im up for this, mainly down to cheds thread! But i tell you what would be good, is if we took an away support like an army. But mate, the "Blue Army" were "On the march" to Hull. An astounding 800.
