Scow Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 - Find a pub showing the game. - Drink as much alcohol as possible from midday. - Watch the game and let the alcohol erase your memory. It worked for the Colchester and S****horpe games. It's great - and cheaper.

Daggers Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 - Find a pub showing the game. Miss it and go to the one next door not showing it. - Drink as much alcohol as possible from midday and forget a game was ever on. - Go to a police station, claim alcohol erased your memory and demand the match get replayed after your release from prison for the incident with a duck after you took a canoe without consent.

Daggers Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Did that for the Ipswich game. It's fun. Drunken excess is the way forward until this season kicks itself up the arse.

Maybes Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Cov got saved yesterday, LCFC supporters currently in a worse place than Cov's!!That leaves Derby. Possibly Thats what keeps me going seeing them get nailed on MOTD every week. Tis a good laugh.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Thats what keeps me going seeing them get nailed on MOTD every week. Tis a good laugh. Bloody hell things are bad aren't they?? At least they're in the Premier !! We'd only do the same, or worse
Matt Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Well I was considering going but what is the fooking point? It's a struggle to go to Home games, let alone away, Wolves are fairly close, My next door neighbours a Wolves fan so i'd have a lift sorted but if the players can't be bothered why should we?

Matt Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 good point but i don't think its a case of the players not being bothered ,its more a case of them being a disorganised rabble, which sadly seems to be a true reflection of the whole club Ok I don't think it's a case of players not being bothered, we've all said before I don't think any players go out and not be bothered or not try - Although it certainly looks like it at the moment. But i'll rephrase then - Why should I or anyone else for that matter bother going to watch inept players who are incapable of doing even the simple things in football?
Guest Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Why do I keep on putting myself through this torture, week after week? Sober?
The Stig Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 I'm goingAt times like this when I Feel I should be there to support whatever team we have out, I make every effort to go The players may not deserve it, but I go and in a former life I was a masochist, clearly Well done you. I personally would rather chew my own arm off than go.
Monk Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Why do I keep on putting myself through this torture, week after week?Sober? Lisa you should think very hard about that one. I've not met anyone with as loyal an attendance record as yourself. Why is a very relevant question!
Bluemoon Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 After today's showing I'm not going.Pub it is. Is this how alcoholism starts?
Simi Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Well I was considering going but what is the fooking point? Erm, to get behind your team? To support them through a bad match. Or are you just going to wait til we get a good squad? Not a personal attack on you Matt, but just don't see why people say "what is the fooking point". There is always a point.

Trouble is Ched the point gets some what blunt after 4 years of shite and thousands of pounds, even blunter after 40 years

Not a personal attack on you Matt, but just don't see why people say "what is the fooking point". There is always a point. Agreed Ched. Although I didn't go yesterday, I have watched us play badly too many times this season so I can feel your frustrations. We're simply not good enough. No one can do anything about it at the moment.
Simi Posted 16 December 2007 Posted 16 December 2007 Trouble is Ched the point gets some what blunt after 4 years of shite and thousands of pounds, even blunter after 40 years Completely understand, davieG. It's just the attitude of some of our fans that gets me.
