Steven Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 To paraphrase MB's texts : Tiatto is out otherwise the squad would have been the same as Saturday + Jordan. MB says nothing on the Trundle rumour and he will send the team in as soon as.
Steven Posted 8 March 2005 Author Posted 8 March 2005 MB says the side is as follows: Walker Kenton McCarthy Dabizas Maybury Gemmill Williams Hughes Stewart Wright Connolly Subs Gillespie Nalis Herschveld MDV Stearman Not sure of the formation at the moment.
Steven Posted 8 March 2005 Author Posted 8 March 2005 tiatto out ? why 76239 I am not sure.
Simon Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 No Gillespie? I'm presuming Williams will play wide- or maybe Hughes?
Steven Posted 8 March 2005 Author Posted 8 March 2005 No Gillespie? I'm presuming Williams will play wide- or maybe Hughes? 76260 I get the sense that he is resting a few.
Mark Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 Gillespie was our best player on Saturday, can't understand it if he's dropped him. Gemmill Hope Wright takes his chance if this is true, still a shame its come 2 years too late.
Steven Posted 8 March 2005 Author Posted 8 March 2005 Maybe they will play 3-5-2 Walker Kenton McCarthy Dabizas Maybury Gemmill Williams Hughes Stewart Wright Connolly
Guest Daniel Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 Brilliant, dead happy Wright is finnally getting his chance.
Mark Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 Walker Kenton Dabizas McCarthy Maybury Williams Gemmill Hughes Stewart Connolly Wright Subs: Gillespie, Nalis, Stearman, de Vries, Hirschfeld.
Wellman Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 Leicester: Walker, Dabizas, Hughes, Stewart, Kenton, Gemmill, Williams, Connolly, McCarthy, Wright, Maybury. Subs: Gillespie, Nalis, Stearman, de Vries, Hirschfeld. 76267 Good good, Donkeys on the bench
davieG Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 Maybe they will play 3-5-2Walker Kenton McCarthy Dabizas Maybury Gemmill Williams Hughes Stewart Wright Connolly 76264 It was certainly hinted at
Anish Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 Leicester: Walker, Dabizas, Hughes, Stewart, Kenton, Gemmill, Williams, Connolly, McCarthy, Wright, Maybury. Subs: Gillespie, Nalis, Stearman, de Vries, Hirschfeld. 76267 Good good, Donkeys on the bench 76269 I'd rather have Connolly on the bench
Anish Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 Glad Heath has been dropped and Wright is in...about time too
filbertway Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 Not bad, i reckon we could have a good chance. Come on wrighty lets be havin ya
Simon Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 Maybe they will play 3-5-2Walker Kenton McCarthy Dabizas Maybury Gemmill Williams Hughes Stewart Wright Connolly 76264 Yeah- should have worked it out. I suggested it in a thread a few days ago but I didnt think he'd go for it- lets hope it works
Muz Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 Theres some pace at the back Come on Wrighty this is your chance son
davieG Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 WalkerKenton Dabizas McCarthy Maybury Williams Gemmill Hughes Stewart Connolly Wright Subs: Gillespie, Nalis, Stearman, de Vries, Hirschfeld. 76267 You have to give CL some credit, that is a risky team to put out in our position, maybe it's shit or bust. Kenton played one game and short for a CB McCarthy never played a first team game Gemmill can't be match fit Wright still unproven or you could say too many changes shades of MAs and desperation.
Anish Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 or you could say too many changes shades of MAs and desperation. 76280 Only time (90 minutes to be precise) will tell...
Little Nicky Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 I reckon this is how it'll line up: Walker Kenton McCarthy Dabizas Maybury Gemmill Williams Hughes Stewart Wright Connolly As Gemmill apparantly used to play out wide right! However if it is 3-5-2 It looks a very scottish midfield
Louise Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 McCarthy never played a first team game 76280 He played 12 times for Boston and 6 for Notts County.
Anish Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 Where's Canero? Wasn't even in the reserves yesterday. Also, Dawson wasn't in the reserves either but isn't in the sqaud (not that I'm surprised to be honest) - although somebody thought that was a sign that he would be included today
Steven Posted 8 March 2005 Author Posted 8 March 2005 WalkerKenton Dabizas McCarthy Maybury Williams Gemmill Hughes Stewart Connolly Wright Subs: Gillespie, Nalis, Stearman, de Vries, Hirschfeld. 76267 You have to give CL some credit, that is a risky team to put out in our position, maybe it's shit or bust. One of my main criticisms of MA was the fact that he never changed things around. No-one can say that about CL and although he may not get it right all the time (who does ), as long as he is prepared to face what is in front of him then he will get my support.
davieG Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 McCarthy never played a first team game 76280 He played 12 times for Boston and 6 for Notts County. 76283 true, I should have said at this level, I think my observations are still valid.
Scarby Posted 8 March 2005 Posted 8 March 2005 Not along ago CL sid Wright was ready yet and had a lot to work on and yet he is starting! We have got to be looking out for another striker
