Jimmy Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 now marton fulop's gone back to sunderland we neeed a new keeper so here's a couple of names who could come to leicester to replace fulop.Tomasz Kuszczak - man united not a chance, he's there number 2 ben foster - man united out for the season Kasper Schmeichel - manchester city at cardif atm not sure if he's being allowed to stay there steve harper - newcastle united he's there number 2 getting his fare share of Prem football due to Given getting injured on a semi regular basis richard wright - everton now West Hams number 2 or should we just stick with henderson,get logan back from his loan spell and get rid of rab douglas and jimmy nielson
Jonezy Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 I believe that Sorensen would prefer regular first team football over bench warming, so maybe we could loan him until the end of season, and Ollie and Penrice could use the spring to search for a permanent keeper to sign in the summer. We aint goin to get promoted this season anyway, and we need money to strengthen our flanks and midfield.

About Schmeichel, Man City wants a 24 hour recall clause in it, so thats why Cardiff didn't want to extend the deal. So don't think thats the solution.

So don't think thats the solution. I still reckon Fulop's price will diminish to around 1.5 - 2.0 million. It just depends how long we'll wait.

Not 3 million and the player has said he wants to be here, Sunderland are just playing games - Mandaric and Fulop will be talking privately, you can bet on that. Mandaric will be reminding Fulop that personal terms are much easier to negotiate when the player wants to come.....
