Is football365.com 'gossip' allowed? :D

Right at the bottom

Aberdeen striker Lee Miller is being chased by Leicester, Crystal Palace and Preston...Leicester are the latest English club to show an interest in Dundee United captain Barry Robson.

Dundee united.... we're so close to gettin rid of half of Levein's players without takin any more on :D

don't know anything about them but if one of them is playing in leveins team then he can't be that good. although levein has a good managerial record up in scotland so he must have some good players.

Barry Robson is very good has recently broken into Scotland squad he has been at Dundee Utd for a while before Levein got there. Lee Miller has played at League 1 level here and was quite successful and has been good since moving to Scotland.

If Levein takes two or three of our unwanted players in return, it may be worth doing business with him!

Hopefully he'll take Maybury and Big Mark.

Hello Again.

For some reason I am unable to start a new thread so I best let you all into some local gossip.

As it happens, One of Our players at Plymouth has been approached by your club with a view to a move to the Walkers Stadium. This information has come from a member of the Chairmans family who is currently dating him.

The player in question is Central Defendr Marcel Seip and I would not be lying If I said he could quite easily play in the Premier League. Marcel joined us from the Dutch Premier League and made over 100 appearances in the Dutch Top Flight and Uefa Cup for Heerenveen, your manager signed him up to a longer deal at Plymouth after a short trial period and would cost between £1-2 Million to prize away.

Barry Robsons is an excellent player, imo the best outside the Old Firm in Scotland, he is in his prime aswell.

He is left footed and has the best delivery in Scotland along with Nakamura, was always a winger but Levein converted him into a Centre Mid last season and he got even better and had by far his best season and got a place in the Scotland squad, he scores goals, plenty skill, strength, decent in the air and hates losing, only thing he lacks is a bit of pace.

When we played Barca pre season, he scored a goal that was disallowed for nothing, after the game Henry said he was impressed with Robson's technique.

Craig Levein is an idiot

he'll sell him us for 1mil

True. We can expect him to be overpriced and accept nothing less than a 9 year contract :dunno:

Would he be able to make the step up?

I think so. He's experienced enough, not like young Aaron McLean or Karl Hawley who won't/haven't made the step up. I wouldn't say there's a massive difference between SPL and Championship ability wise...I just think it's more competitive, more games etc.
