Thracian Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 No instrument I'm afraid but being ex-Leicester Cathedral choir I might make any male-voice accompaniment if such were planned though I wouldn't hold your breath. However, my youngest lad is, I believe, registered on Foxestalk and a very occasional contributor and, when he practices you couldn't tell a number of his party pieces on piano from Richard Clayderman himself. Indeed at one time I used to have a tape of his playing it was such easy listening but I'm probably being a biased parent. He won a few competitions, most notably at Oundle School, and his interpretation of Nutrocker by B Bumble and the Stingers is guaranteed to get anyone going. Sadly, he rarely plays now.
James. Posted 28 December 2007 Author Posted 28 December 2007 thats the " old spice aftershave " ad right and we've got , a trumpet ,tuba , cowbell, drums and recorder yeah ok , that could work We will be playing Carmina Burana. And if the cowbell has to step up and play the entire string section score then so be it.

Thracian you are the first member of the choir. Congratulations. Carmina Burana has a fantastic choir part. You will need to be on form. And your son is more than welcome. This is going swimmingly.
Alexikokopops Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Having your own stick is the clincher. You are the composer. You have a good name for a composer too. Don't you mean Conductor? I can play clarinet, saxophone, keyboard, a smidge of piano and the bass guitar. Slot me in wherever.

James. Posted 28 December 2007 Author Posted 28 December 2007 There has to be space for a guitar of some description. Not really an orchestral instrument is it I'm afraid. Although if you hold it a bit funnily we can pretend it's a cello. You're in.
