FleckneyFox Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 So if rumours are to be beleived i think this is how we are looking for the future. Fulop Chambers McAuley Kisnorbo Capaldi Hume Kavanagh Clemence Mattock Fryatt Howard Subs: Henderson Stearman/N'Gotty Wesolowski Sheehan/Hayes/Porter/Gradel/Chambers Campbell/Hayles I reckon all that is needed there are more experienced wingers and i think Ollie will bring those in the transfer window along with these 5 if the rumours are true and then we look a very strong side. I think that would be it for Janurary but in the future i think we need a Centre half with Prem experience (younger than Bruno), a centre mid who is older than Weso and younger than Clemence and possibly a better backup Goalie then we can look at Promotion!
Jay Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 I am in no doubt that when fit Howard (if he signs) and DJ upfront will be the starting line up and will be our best front pairing
The Stig Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Fulop (If he signs) Stearman (If he continues his decent form) McAuley Kisnorbo <New Left Back> Mattock, Sheean Not ready. <New Right Mid> Clemence <New Center Mid> Weso not ready yet and too injury prone, and even if he does start we need back up <New Left Mid> Hayes Not ready yet, same goes for Sheean Mattock Hayles / DJ Howard In an ideal world this how we'd line up if I was the manager, but its not an ideal world nor am I the manager so it probably won't look like this
kyleolly Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 would you sell hume if you were manager stig
The Stig Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 would you sell hume if you were manager stig No, definitely not, he is a good championship level player, plus he has the commitment and the willingness to take someone on. However, I doubt he'll ever be a Premierhsip player. However, he wouldn't go in my starting 11, at least not straight away, as his energy would be a great asset. If DJ or Hayles had bad games he'd be in the team for me ahead of John.
Bryn Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Howard and Campbell has potential as a front pair but I didn't they say Campbell was gonna be 3 months? Main concern is the need for a creative midfielder, definately. The goals will come after that I think.
danny. Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 stearman would be first choice for right back if he carries on his current form, which is fantastic.
The Stig Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 stearman would be first choice for right back if he carries on his current form, which is fantastic. I really hope he does, it's nice to see a local lad from the academy in the team.
MPH Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 stearman would be first choice for right back if he carries on his current form, which is fantastic. i will be a man and say he is winning me over the last few games.... he needs to keep it up though...
