We sign more people than we ever win games

If we sign these players, we'll have signed more players in the January transfer window than the number of home games we won in 2007. lol

It's January 3rd, the deals are "nearly done" and we signed 14 players in the summer. :rolleyes:lol

For the same reasons that people on here always say 'would of' or 'should of' instead of have.

Standards are slipping, this country's going to the dogs, it wasn't like this in my day, I can remember when this field was just a field etc etc

so now we know who to blame for the downfall of this country.. kavanagh's mum for marrying his dad thus producing offspring with less than conventional spelt last names...

im so with you, comrade....

*beats chest clenches fist* for the cause!!!!!

EDIT: ignore me lol. im just enjoying my day off :scarf:

Yeah but what would the others do while we used Big Trev as a nuclear warhead.

I think we've found a solution to our left wing problem! Bring him back!

The depressive pessimist in me is starting to settle. It's difficult to make my point without mentioning Earnshaw (linked to Wolves) and Koumas (linked to QPR), but I think it's fairly relevant. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying OMG THER THA BES PLYRS EVR SINE THEM NOW! - but they represent a proven Championship quality that we've still not shown the interest or motivation to go after.

It was the same in the summer. We blow, what was it, 2 million on DJ Campbell? And at the same time Freddy Eastwood goes to Wolves for about half of that? How much did Keogh cost? 800k?

Someone tell me if I'm being a twat, please. But it doesn't strike me that we're short of money, just ambition in the transfer market. I appreciate you can put some of that down to wastefulness on Allen's part but Barry Hayles? A further 1.5m for Steve Howard? I am wondering..

Ok, ok. It wasn't meant to be a serious suggestion.

Although the sight of Benji playing the role of battering ram down the wing against Sheffield Utd (?) a few seasons ago is something I'm not going to forget easily.
