isaidno Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 Did anyone else see the guy on mastermind last night answering questions on Formula 1 ?

Gené and Tonic Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 That wasn't so much his fault as the woman's. And the child being stupid..but still he should have seen if she was ok
isaidno Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 There's loads of rumours flying round that Kimi will retire at the end of the season, to be replaced by Alonso
Father Ted Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 There's loads of rumours flying round that Kimi will retire at the end of the season, to be replaced by Alonso That really would be a big surprise and would provide a lot of drama in F1, with Alonso going head to head with Hamilton. Although, I would much rather prefer to see Nico Rosberg in a top car...
Brainy Posted 26 July 2008 Author Posted 26 July 2008 His drives this season tells me he is Cant believe he hasnt won a race since Spain
Father Ted Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 His drives this season tells me he is Cant believe he hasnt won a race since Spain His form has been really rubbish this season! Had a great start but from there he has just... faded away. I think it will be very close as to whether Massa will be driving a Ferrari next season.
Gené and Tonic Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 Will be disappointing if he does...I suppose he's achieved his goal, but can't see it happening myself..maybe in about 3 years time...I'm sure he has a few years left on his Ferrari contract.
Lovejoy Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 Somewhere I heard that Ferrari are lining up Alonso and Kubica for next year. Can't remember where though, which isn't too helpful .
Floating Fox Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 I could see Kimi retiring as well. He actually said hes considered it as well...
The Stig Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 Unbelievable. Random. Mclaren. I'm begining to think there's something in these FIA against Mclaren rumours.
Brainy Posted 28 July 2008 Author Posted 28 July 2008 Random. Mclaren. I'm beginning to think there's something in these FIA against Mclaren rumours.
The Stig Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008  You may laugh but don't forget Mclaren are not 100% innocent and do tend to go for the sympathy vote. I would be surprised if the FIA are totally against Mclaren like people suggest, but I'd be surprised if there isn't something in it.
Lovejoy Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 Ron Dennis is such a tosser I don't care frankly. Or maybe the FIA watch ITV and like the rest of us get p***ed off with the Lewis Hamilton bummage. Has anyone else noticed the look on Steve Rider's face when Hamilton is mentioned  ? And what about when Raikonnen won the title last year, it was like Hamilton had died, not finished 3rd in the Championship

Yes they mention Lewis too much but in covering Kimi's titile win they did well.
Father Ted Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 TBH, I think the publicity of Hamilton is just about right. I know many may not agree and believe that it is over the top but he is a very talented person... In his rookie season he nearly won the championship, in a season full of drama including the allegations against Mclaren and the feuds with Alonso aswell as the sudden time in the spotlight. He dealt with everything so well and very maturely. Outside of racing he seems a very nice person, aswell as a very clever one. I mean not many people would think of the idea of going to live in Switzerland where they have no taxes Thoughts?

Not sure what you're getting at there, I was just laughing because you said you were beginning to think that the FIA have something against McLaren.
