Monk Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 It's horrendously overpriced. Given my Ipod packed up after 4 months do I really trust Apple on reliability to sign an 18 month contract?
DBEightyFive Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 Its brilliant. I love mine but still scared of dropping it although I have dropped it once and didn't even scratch it. Very expensive web browsing though especially if your bored on a train.
Tommy G Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 They are very good phones, but why not just have an I Pod and a phone? The monthly tariff really doesnt warrant it unless you have money to burn IMO
Blue Bob Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 They are very good phones, but why not just have an I Pod and a phone? The monthly tariff really doesnt warrant it unless you have money to burn IMO I think the idea is that you dont have to carry two devices, one will do all. I have had mine since launch and I love it, typing was a bit strange at first but soon got the hang of it.
Monk Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 My current Tarriff is £29, so an extra £6 a month plus the stupid price of the phone. Nah not worth it. My Sony W810i is still a great phone that does everything I need it to and has been totally reliable since May 06. How about that! I'm getting a new phone in April when the contract is up but it won't be an Apple, more likely another Sony/LG, and certainly not a Nokia.
Alexikokopops Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 I really don't get the big deal. I'll stick to paying £25 a month for unlimited everything and carrying a separate iPod so that my phone battery doesn't run out every two minutes.
coale39 Posted 16 January 2008 Posted 16 January 2008 yeh i dont see the big fuss. One of my flat mate bought one for like £400 quid when it first cam out!

Too bloody right. Can you only get it on O2? thats balls, Orange is the way forward

I'd struggle to get my 66 gigs of music on an iPhone, so I'll have to stick with carrying 2 devices around.
morris1234 Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 i heard it was quite heavy?? would be i right in thinking so?
Alexikokopops Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 Too bloody right. Can you only get it on O2? thats balls, Orange is the way forward Not when your sister works as an accountant at Vodafone

Daggers Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 My N95, The King of Phones, has shite battery life and the wife fails to understand how important it is to have non-stop access to music. I think she is just worried I find the iTouch more sexy than her. That could never happen.
