Jay Posted 3 February 2008 Posted 3 February 2008 it sounds good but what about the drag and drop ability? or are you reliant on it's own software?
Guest Posted 3 February 2008 Posted 3 February 2008 it sounds good but what about the drag and drop ability? or are you reliant on it's own software? It syncs in Windows Media Player. I bet Daggers has found a better way. I'm useless, you see.
Daggers Posted 3 February 2008 Author Posted 3 February 2008 It syncs in Windows Media Player. I bet Daggers has found a better way. I'm useless, you see. Opens up in Windows and Linux as an external hard drive...drag and dropping is simple, folders are already created. Jay - it's a breeze. It's everything an Apple should be but isn't in terms of functionality. And comparing it and the iTouch next to each other, the Archos is in a different league in terms of usability too.

Thats EXACTLY what I wanted to hear!! Amazon may well be getting an order shortly
hairy Posted 3 February 2008 Posted 3 February 2008 Buying the add-ons is a pain: The DVR docking bay really should be included and not £60-odd extra - the same with the plug-ins...but I knew about that before I bought it and swallowed the cost. Got to agree there. Its like getting 75% of the product without them when a DVR is a must. I have managed to get by without the plug-ins so far but then mine is the 604 without the wireless option.
craigadams22 Posted 4 February 2008 Posted 4 February 2008 I have got an Archos Player 100gb's, I have got loads and loads of different music albums on it. Also most of my Family Photo's, plus some Gerry Anderson avi format shows - Space 1999 being one of them. It certainly rules over crap Apple IPod Regards Craig Adams 23 @ 2008
