Geo V Posted 22 February 2008 Posted 22 February 2008 The value of a half ticket is currently £145 as it stands at the moment that would be £150 towards Foxestalk; which is approxiamtely a 50/50 split. We could therefore, taking into account any additional entries make it a 50% prize. The problem is mate this is dragging on now. If we stop it today at 59 I (or maybe you) can gather the fivers and that will take a couple of weeks and then we can think of something football related as a way of an almost instant competition to get to a winner and then who knows, maybe we can then do it again? If it works as I plan then we may squueze 3 of these in before the new season which gets three of us a cheap half-season season ticket and the forum a few hundred quid. The Idea I had for the competition bit itself was to do something simple like ask all entrants to guess the amount of league goals scored in England on a given saturday but whats important is that this doesn't go on too long.

I wasn't suggesting it carried on just that while we are discussing it it could be added to. The reason for suggesting a 50/50 cash split is because a 1/2 ST is hardly worth having now. As it stands £150 to the the winner £145 to Foxestalk. One payment option could be if we did the 'draw' then people could either send their £5's to the winner or to Mark, some may have personal contact with the winner this, although more complex could save on transaction costs.

danny. Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 why not just do a cash prize of £150, then it can go toward any season ticket (as a lot of people might not want a half season ticket or a cheap seat)
