Zingari Posted 24 January 2008 Posted 24 January 2008 I wrote a poem which combines boo and hume , its called the german guns Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom BOOOM BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
Manwell Pablo Posted 24 January 2008 Posted 24 January 2008 I think Ian Humes the least of our problems.
Fox You Forest Posted 24 January 2008 Posted 24 January 2008 This thread is embarrassing. Its got me Dancing On The Ceiling.
Koke Posted 24 January 2008 Posted 24 January 2008 I can forgive lack of quality but I can't forgive lack effort. Therefore, doesn't matter how bad of day he can have, he'll still give his all and that's appreciated by nearly all of us. That said, he's a very good player and works his nuts off for the team. Hume actually earns his wages every week. Wish we could say the same about a lot of our other players.
renards Posted 24 January 2008 Posted 24 January 2008 Boooooooooe Milans got a DVD featuring George Boe of Spitha Lonikes, Crap player, but signing to spice up the reading of the team
Fox You Forest Posted 24 January 2008 Posted 24 January 2008 I don't get why people have a stick up thier arse about Hume.Cracking little player who gives nothing short of everything whilst on the pitch. He does have his odd bad game but no where near as many as the rest of them have had this season. And for that reason its why people love him. Because he trys hard and shows some sort of passion. It's probably the same people banging on about Rivaldo coming.
termite111 Posted 24 January 2008 Author Posted 24 January 2008 The debate here does not, to my mind, centre around whether or not Hume is any good. It revolves around the issue of whether or not he is overrated. I think he's a good player but he is overrated by many Leicester fans, who praise him every week for performances that are often standard or below par. Nothing irks me more than the chorus of 'HUUUUUUUME' which inevitably occurs when he does anything, be it score a twenty-five yard screamer or slice a cross behind with two men free at the back post. All I'm saying is that it should not be one rule for some (like Stearman) and another rule for others (like Hume). Some of the best players in the world have been overrated. I remember when Henry was in his pomp, commentators and fans alike would be going out of their way to praise him, even if he had a poor game. It's a case of the 'Emperor's New Clothes'. Everybody goes along with the Hume-love because they're unwilling to see what's in front of them. A good, but ultimately, overrated player. spot on i'm not sayin i dislike hume cause he's an ok player i just don't get why most love him even when he's shit
termite111 Posted 24 January 2008 Author Posted 24 January 2008 Agreed Don't see why people on here are always having a pop about players. If we just got behind the players even if they aren't playing well then they might perform abit better. if you read it again you'll see i'm not having a pop i'm asking a question of why he gets cheered when he's sometimes not even played the best

If i had to do what you told me i would seriously consider watching netball as my chosen sport.
