purpleronnie Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 GABBY AGBONLAHOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Him and Heskey up front is the stuff that dreams, mainly mine, are made of. :D :D If your dream is another dissapointment...
lildave3 Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 If your dream is another dissapointment... Well that's just highly unlogical.
purpleronnie Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Well that's just highly unlogical. Heard of nightmares?
lildave3 Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Heard of nightmares? Yes, hence the unlogicality.
sdb Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 good squad. Bruno's in there which is magical. The villa lads have got the chance they deserve, and jenas and downing are playing well at the mo. the others pretty much pick themselves.
Uncle Albert Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 no Green though? that's harsh Very! But Capello would of only have two of the three keepers in the full squad and they would of been James and Carson so... Downing though over Lennon. Come on Fabio!
lildave3 Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 no Green though? that's harsh Not particularly, someone had to miss out. Not that I rate Kirkland much, but i'd say he's been playing as well as Green lately and without the silly mistakes. And without the damn energy nonsense sticking out of his mouth before every game.

purpleronnie Posted 1 February 2008 Posted 1 February 2008 Yes, hence the unlogicality. Do you mean illogicality.
Simi Posted 1 February 2008 Posted 1 February 2008 Glad to see Beckham not included. He doesn't deserve it, based on recent form. Which is what I'm looking forward to our squad being based on. Surprised at the move for Lennon, but it could benefit him, also alert others that things are going to change. Surprised at Shorey and Owen if I'm honest. He's not really being showing much form at all lately. But I do hope to see Heskey and Agbonlahor, would be dynamic I feel.
Uncle Albert Posted 1 February 2008 Posted 1 February 2008 Fabio Out. Funny man This is only the provisional sqaud though, so this sqaud probably wont have Davis, Downing and Upson in it by Saturday night.
Tevez Posted 1 February 2008 Posted 1 February 2008 Livid Kevin Davies and Matt Oakley aint in the team.
lildave3 Posted 1 February 2008 Posted 1 February 2008 Livid Kevin Davies and Matt Oakley aint in the team. That reminds me, is Egil Ostenstad still playing?
brendan Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Emile Heskey will not be a part of it because he picked up an injury and that leaves us a bit short up front, the squad is due to be announced very soon, 30 -> 23, P.S i'm also not very happy about David Beckham not being included
WetFlannel Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Beckham would only be in the squad on sentimental value... Would that really benefit the team?
brendan Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Omissions from the England squad are: Nicky Shorey Emile Heskey (injury) Glen Johnson Curtis Davies Ledley King Stewart Downing Michael Carrick
Tommy G Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Omissions from the England squad are:Nicky Shorey Emile Heskey (injury) Glen Johnson Curtis Davies Ledley King Stewart Downing Michael Carrick No surprises apart from Carrick - hes a top player that can pick a pass. at Curtis Davies, makes him look like a tit for what he said mid week!
Father Ted Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Omissions from the England squad are:Nicky Shorey Emile Heskey (injury) Glen Johnson Curtis Davies Ledley King Stewart Downing Michael Carrick Surprised about Glen Johnson, he's been on top form recently. And Curtis Davies, How he got in the 30 man squad I don't know.
Joe. Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Carrick's overrated anyway I think. And whenever I've seen him play for England he's been absolutely awful.
lildave3 Posted 2 February 2008 Posted 2 February 2008 Carrick's overrated anyway I think. And whenever I've seen him play for England he's been absolutely awful. Who hasn't?
