First city autograph ?

The first autograph of a city player I ever got was Mike Stringfellow. I watched a reserve team game in the early seventies It was against Fulham and I'm sure he scored a goal in the game. I waited outside Filbo players entrance for ages before he emerged to sign my book. I had the book for years before losing it in one of many house moves. I suppose Stringy was a far cry from the cult figures of today but he always gave his all. that evening he signed every book put before him, smiled and thanked everyone for waiting. A gentleman and a true fox.

I don't have a clue.

My first game where i might have got autographs was Leicester reserves vs Port Vale reserves in 94 season. Think of the talent then.

My first was Muzzy Izzet, but shortly followed by Neil Lennon, Martin O'Neil, Heskey, Steve Walsh, Simon Grayson, Gary Parker etc etc .When i was 6 my dad got me onto the open top bus when we got promoted ;) Sat next to Muzzy, i'll never forget that day.

At a pre-season friendly at Kettering in 1999 I think.

The team bus pulled up outside where we were so I got some then. Still got that programme now! :D Just remember getting Heskey's and Izzet's.

Good times...

I remember having my photo took with Steve Walsh lifting me up, again outside Filbert Street, I must have been about 5?

And photo with Neil Lennon on my birthday one year, went for a tour round the Stadium, ran round the pitch and everything. Then went to some sort of Filbert Fox party lol Probably about 6 or 7 then.

Very, very good times.

I can't remember my first. Though I'll never forget being proud as phuck running up to Iwan Roberts saying "Shwmae, Iwan?" before getting ludicrously shy and running back to my dad when he answered me in Welsh.

David Oldfield and Steve Thompson at the old Filbert St Shop ( remember that ? wasn't even built on the ground ) Steve Thompson was my hero back then.

Mine was Matty Elliott in the training ground car park and was more than happy for a photo as well. Got most of the squad on that day too.

Ali Mauchlen and Gazza Mac signed my shirt before kick-off. Pulled me on the pitch so I could take a photo with them. Bet that wouldn't happen anymore!

Mine was Muzzy in Fatty Arbuckles.

Mine was Muzzy Izzet's.... I also remember getting Paul Dickov to sign my Shirt on the first day he arrived at Leicester.

I have very fond memories of hanging about outside filbert street as a youngster waiting for the players to show up...

I went to the opening of an electrical store on Melton Road and got Jock Wallace's autograph, along with a number of other players including Mark Wallington. Thankfully I didn't see his winkle.

Can't remember exactly but it would have been when my brother was mascot vs. Liverpool in 03/04 season. Ian Walker probably as he was my favourite player

This has inspired me to look through my old autograph books.

Some include, Keith Weller, Ian Baraclough, Frankie Wortho, Shilton, Jermaine Jenas, Joe Cole, Carl Cort!! (Before he joined us).

I think my first ever one was Pontus though! :worship:
