filbertboy Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 The first autograph of a city player I ever got was Mike Stringfellow. I watched a reserve team game in the early seventies It was against Fulham and I'm sure he scored a goal in the game. I waited outside Filbo players entrance for ages before he emerged to sign my book. I had the book for years before losing it in one of many house moves. I suppose Stringy was a far cry from the cult figures of today but he always gave his all. that evening he signed every book put before him, smiled and thanked everyone for waiting. A gentleman and a true fox.
christoff542 Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 Mine was from Iain Hume at half-time when Leicester played Burnley 2 years ago. After that I got autographs from almost everygame I went to.
Sods Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 I don't have a clue. My first game where i might have got autographs was Leicester reserves vs Port Vale reserves in 94 season. Think of the talent then.

And photo with Neil Lennon on my birthday one year, went for a tour round the Stadium, ran round the pitch and everything. Then went to some sort of Filbert Fox party Probably about 6 or 7 then. Very, very good times.
Finnegan Posted 16 February 2008 Posted 16 February 2008 I can't remember my first. Though I'll never forget being proud as phuck running up to Iwan Roberts saying "Shwmae, Iwan?" before getting ludicrously shy and running back to my dad when he answered me in Welsh.

Guest Posted 16 February 2008 Posted 16 February 2008 I went to the opening of an electrical store on Melton Road and got Jock Wallace's autograph, along with a number of other players including Mark Wallington. Thankfully I didn't see his winkle.
DB11 Posted 16 February 2008 Posted 16 February 2008 Can't remember exactly but it would have been when my brother was mascot vs. Liverpool in 03/04 season. Ian Walker probably as he was my favourite player
Simi Posted 16 February 2008 Posted 16 February 2008 This has inspired me to look through my old autograph books. Some include, Keith Weller, Ian Baraclough, Frankie Wortho, Shilton, Jermaine Jenas, Joe Cole, Carl Cort!! (Before he joined us). I think my first ever one was Pontus though!
