Good road trip, it's abit too much to do in 3 weeks, I did a similar thing in 3 months and still didn't see most of what i wanted to see!!

Seriously though, I wanted to go to Shimla and then to Kashmir but I only got as far as Himachal Pradesh which infact is part of punjab!! Fortunately I go punjab quite often so I have been since!!

I have been since, yes it is pretty, my mrs has relative in Kalka which is very pretty!! MF when we go to the punjab for your stag we'll take some time out and go there!!!

blue blood Posted 22 February 2008 Author Posted 22 February 2008 I have been since, yes it is pretty, my mrs has relative in Kalka which is very pretty!!MF when we go to the punjab for your stag we'll take some time out and go there!!! will be going there too! there will be a lot of the motherland covered in 3 weeks but that will be part of the experience. there will be a few extra stops en route to break the journey up and the longest straight run will be between jaipur and agra (between 6 to 8 hrs depending on the driver!) We will be sure to eat lots of food, cant wait for the stuffed paratha fo breakfast! the paneer should be good and i have heard good things about the chicken esp up north! It is a well known fact there is an excessive growth of male marajuana plants in india.....hmm!! Shimla should be somewhere in the low 20s (low 20's in the dry heat is a lot ifferent to low 20's here!) by mid march so im looking forward to that! PS it takes a day to cover belgrave road, it would take years and years to cover india.
