Trav Le Bleu Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Our saviours in the previous Cov game now look distinctly average, if that. I think that Ollie was wise to only contract them until the end of the season with a view to signing them. Hopefully this will mean we DON'T sign them and look for better in the summer. Barring some suddenly spectacular consistently excellent performances of course. Though having said that, I'd like to see more of Bori. Whilst not as spectacular as Lascko has been, he's also been not as bad or disinterested as Lascko in others - but Ollie doesn't seem that keen on promoting him to the first team. Should they stay or should they go (not now, but at the end of the season)
morris1234 Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 the life of a leicester fan, has nobody got any patience, im not saying that theyve not fit in yet etc etc but theres been players at clubs for years (which we seem to lack ) that have developed and become great players, laczko was poor today but so were others, the only one who looked like he wanted to play for the shirt was oakley!
Joe. Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 From what I've seen, Bori possibly. He needs more match time to be honest, might be worth him playing right wing instead of Hume for a bit. Lackzo? No. Not good enough I don't think.

Laczko was signed to improve our team. Gradel was considered the one who needed "experience" and was sent off the Bournemouth. Two mistakes there. If Laczko's not the one who should be getting the experience at Bournemouth then Gradel should be here giving him some proper competition for his place in the city side. Because right now he got none and that's not healthy in any position or in any footbaall team.
dandannieldanok Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 We need wingers that can look after themselves in a tough, physically demanding league like this, not lightweight foreigners. Kris Commons fits the bill perfectly and hopefully Holloway is first to make a move in the summer for him.

Lascko just does NOT like it when player get stuck into him and gives up from what I can see.
LeeCovFox Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 I wouln't keep either. Ollie did the sensible thing in January. He knew we needed wingers, and I think he brought these lads in as short term measures, knowing that he didn't have much time to waste. In the summer he will have longer to negotiate for players he really wants. Unfotunately for the Hungarians, I just don't think they will be what we need long term.
Webbo Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 For some reason Ollie doesn't seem rate Bori and yet to me he's always looked quite good, certainly no worse than anyone else at the club. As for Zolt I don't really know what to make of him. I thought he was poor last week until we were 2 goals up and then he seemed to come to life, perhaps it's a confidence thing. The way things are at the minute I don't think we should sign either in the summer.
Daggers Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Lascko just does NOT like it when player get stuck into him and gives up from what I can see. Salty needs a Charles Atlas training program...

Should they stay or should they go (not now, but at the end of the season) Laczko's problem is when we go a goal down or it isn't going his way then his head will drop and he will stop. If Ollie can get that out of his system then he has the potential to be a good player, he just needs to setlle to the style of the English game. I've not seen much of Bori but he also needs to adapt to the English game and acclimatize.

If Ollie can get that out of his system then he has the potential to be a good player, he just needs to setlle to the style of the English game. It's not. His problem stems from the fact that he seems unable to control a ball and is piss poor at crossing. Oh, and he can't beat a man since his debut. Aside from that, all that stuff about head dropping holds water too.
