Thracian Posted 1 March 2008 Posted 1 March 2008 OLLIES ARMY OLLIES ARMY KEEP THE FAITH Ironic though how important a role Henderson played. Walshie sounded convinced Holloway's the man. I thought there was much to be encouraged about - DJ's pace and movement clearly caused problems, Hendrie sounded like an improvement, the defence seemed very solid with the main danger coming from too many silly free kicks and we seemed to attack the game first half. I wasn't so pleased the way we seemed to lose tempo and concede ground easier second half, a failing that seemed to invite what sounded like a poor Cardiff team to come onto us unnecessarily. Nor did I see the sense in making three substitutions - either altogether or at all - with five minutes to go. To me it simply risked misunderstandings for no purpose I could understand nless win bonuses only apply to those who actually play. Overall though a big step forward and perhaps a pivotal day for our survival being an unexpected away win.
STUHILL Posted 1 March 2008 Posted 1 March 2008 I just want anyone to succeed!!!! Lets hope it is Ollie this season! He hasn't panicked, he's kept faith in some of the players, todays result and more importantly the performance has really helped his corner.
shiv Posted 1 March 2008 Posted 1 March 2008 of all the newspapers to believe the rumours of, you pick the sun!
Webbo Posted 1 March 2008 Posted 1 March 2008 What a difference a game makes. Who's going to start the play offs thread.
Toecutter Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Sack Ollie? ok theres a que of over-achieving trophy winning managers waiting to speak to Milan, Ollie was about 5th choice to begin with. Milan should go abroad next time for a manager the team don`t understand english anymore anyway words like pass and shoot have been long forgotten. This current team are as bad as the Pleat days where the players `looked good on paper` look at how much good paper we have wasted on shite in the last 9 months! Bring on the cricket season
