Now I'll tell you how I knew. I know the 4th official on the game and text him asking him why Lampard was sent off he told me and said it'll be rescinded if they appeal.

I can see why it was rescinded, it was petulant and not malicious. It's harsh on Alliadierre though, his 'slap' was just as petty but rather than getting it over turned his punishment was upped to a four game ban for appealing it. Seems a bit inconsistant.

Agree with this decision although the FA could have saved a lot of aggro if they hand rescinded the Aliadiere red too, which was farcical.

Lampard should have been given red for when he ran his studs down the other guys leg. Great role model for the kiddies eh?
