"This gesture is a big thank you to our supporters who have shown extraordinary commitment this season," said chief executive Martin Bain. Meanwhile, chairman Sir David Murray has vowed to "invest heavily" in players this summer. Murray, who also announced a freeze in season ticket costs and a reduction for juvenile season tickets, said: "It is obvious we are going to strengthen. "There was money available to manager Walter Smith in January - several millions of pounds to spend - and he chose not to. "We will make resources available to Walter in the summer. We're on the way up as a club. Give your reaction to this story "The turnaround from this time last year when we were losing to St Johnstone and Dunfermline is simply remarkable." Rangers host Sporting in the Uefa Cup quarter-final on 3 April, with the second leg a week later in Portugal. Pretty good gesture that. I know it's for a game abroad but I wish Mandaric would do something like that.
Maybes Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 Pretty good gesture that. I know it's for a game abroad but I wish Mandaric would do something like that. . Jesus. We dont have to travel abroad to see our team play though do we?
SamL Posted 23 March 2008 Author Posted 23 March 2008 . Jesus. We dont have to travel abroad to see our team play though do we? Yeah I know what you mean Maybes, would still be pretty nice. I know it's been discussed before but instead of giving free tickets away, Mandaric should think about rewarding people who go to the away games.

You mean the attractive, free flow, attacking football is not rewarding enough??
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 It's cos they wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise, having spent their money on crack.
Head Honcho Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 It's cos they wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise, having spent their money on crack. It's not really wise to comment on things you know fvck all about! Glasgow spent hundreds of millions building the new town of Cumbernauld to re-house the Irish immigrants of The Gorbals...................................only for them to turn it into the biggest crack town in Britain

Floating Fox Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 Just another bitter Celtic fan, whose finally realised Rangers are going to win the league this season. Think it might go, just slightly, beyond that...
Bert Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 Think it might go, just slightly, beyond that... UEFA Cup as well, i forgot. Edit - Already 1 cup in the bag, another to come too.
Guest Posted 26 March 2008 Posted 26 March 2008 It's cos they wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise, having spent their money on crack. I actually find that offensive. BTW, Trainspotting was based in Edinburgh.
