What a load of utter crap.

Why is it that the aliens we 'encounter' ALWAYS end up looking like the ones from films... what proof have we that they actually look like that!?! Big black eyes, no hair, large head, almost skeletal looking... its all very Hollywood looking...

I know you could then argue that we have no proof that they don't actually look like that, but it would be a MASSIVE coincidence if they actually looked like the ones we made up in films.

Another point is that I VERY much doubt that we would be treating and touching the alien like they were as surely it would be in our best interests for research or whatever to keep it as well as possible... again though... its just very unrealistic.

I do not believe that we are the only intelligent species in the universe BUT I certainly don't think that that was one of another kind that had been brought down here...

"area 51" is believed by many conspiracy theorists not to be about aliens, but ( more credibly i believe) the site where the faked moon landings were filmed .

i admit to being a bit of a conspiracy junkie myself , but i think there may be something to it

My only thought on the 'fake' moon landings is that it seems to have been a lot of money spent just to put the hoax across. Would have cost the same to actually do it for real. What about all the people that saw the spaceships take off? Why did no one saw them return an hour or so later? Has Armstrong, Aldrin etc also been lying? Why has no one come forward (or have they( from the space centre to confess or were they duped as well?

Who organized it? Cant think of a president intelligent enough to know about aeronotics to set it up?

Just one or two things that make me doubt that it was all a hoax. Would have took years of planning and the reliance of a lot of people keeping quiet or being killed off accidentally.

Funny how Aliens keep appearing to farm hands in the middle of nowhere, sci-fi fans and people of little influence, rather than UFOs flying over major cities during daylight or landing in NYC when the U.N. is in session or abducting the Prime Minister (then again...)

It's all bollocks. Life may arise a lot in the form of pond scum and self replicating complex chains of carbon or silicon based life, but the chances of two intelligent and technological species coming across each other at the same time in the same bit of space are, I suggest, small.

Oh, and worth noting that sightings of UFOs increased massively in the years after films like "Close Encounters" and "ET" came out. Funny that...
