dandannieldanok Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 Television coverage starts tonight on BBC 2 at 9pm. It's looking good already, Ian Poulter is leading on -3 after landing a hole-in-one at the 16th. Donald and Woosnam at -2.
Uncle Albert Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 I hope a Brit can do well in this tournament like Rose last year.
Leicester Lass Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 Got Tiger's name all over it. Can't wait though Impressive round by Poulter today but I think Rose or Donald will end up as highest-placed Brit.
Uncle Albert Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 Masters Leaderboard For people who arent watching the Golf.
FleckneyFox Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 Just backed Immelman £5 at 25/1 thats not bad odds
Vardinhio Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 I've got £5 on Immelman and Mickelson at 26/1 and 10/1
Raj Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 Got Tiger's name all over it. Can't wait though Impressive round by Poulter today but I think Rose or Donald will end up as highest-placed Brit. Golf is for Girls. Innit Leicesterlass???
AoWW Posted 10 April 2008 Posted 10 April 2008 I really don't know the first thing about golf but I always think Augusta's a beautiful looking course.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 Intresting leaderboard so far im spewing Ogilvy is at 3 over Good leader board for the brits tho so far
Ric Flair Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 I've backed Retief Goosen, his record here in recent years suggests an e/w place is a shoe in.
Leicester Lass Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 Golf is for Girls.Innit Leicesterlass??? Too right. For once it wasn't a twattish post by you, Raj
The Reverend Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 I've had a few bets on this baby. Angel Cabrera looks the best to me though, £1 on e/w at 100/1. Go on Angel!
dandannieldanok Posted 11 April 2008 Author Posted 11 April 2008 Woods will walk it. He may win, a lot will depend on today's round, but I very much doubt he'll "walk it". In his first round he couldn't buy a birdie, just one solitary eagle, two bogeys and the rest pars.
Uncle Albert Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 He may win, a lot will depend on today's round, but I very much doubt he'll "walk it". In his first round he couldn't buy a birdie, just one solitary eagle, two bogeys and the rest pars. Personally I cant see Woods winning even though he is a round behind most of the leaders. Hope he can prove me wrong.
Leicester Lass Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 Personally I cant see Woods winning even though he is a round behind most of the leaders.Hope he can prove me wrong. I'm with you on this I'm afraid. Looked like he was trying too hard to make things happen yesterday, needs a good round today to get himself back into the mix.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 April 2008 Author Posted 11 April 2008 Just backed Immelman £5 at 25/1 I've got £5 on Immelman and Mickelson at 26/1 and 10/1 Both looking like good bets at the minute. Immelman showing consistency with two 68's and Mickelson closing in on the clubhouse at -4, four shots off Immelman's lead.
Vardinhio Posted 11 April 2008 Posted 11 April 2008 Also, before I went to bed last night I had £2 on Shnedeker (sp?) at 44/1. So looking good to win something i hope.
dandannieldanok Posted 12 April 2008 Author Posted 12 April 2008 Justin Rose blew it Made a right cock-up of the 15th, just looked like he gave up. Poulter and Casey are nicely placed at least, hopefully they can continue their surge up the leaderboard.
Leicester Lass Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Tiger is poised, but I honestly can't see him doing it. If Casey can get off to a good start like he did yesterday, who knows.
