clazkel Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 I agree with that.Only Stearman, Big Bazza and Hendrie seemed up for it today and Hendrie is not even our player. I also think Hume seemed up for it when he come on, but wot i can't understand is why Ollie would put Hayles up front when he was playing really well on the wing. Then Ollie brings on Hume and Fryatt which is great but he takes Hayles off, i think he should've taken DJ off and put Hayles back on the wing!
Thracian Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 I've read about 20 times that the players aren't motivated and don't seem to give a shit already tonight. It's bollocks. The players looked up for it from start to finish, we just can't stick the ball in the back of the net. That is all. I agree with that. What they really lack is the confidence to commit themselves and a manager who they can trust to dot the i's and cross the t's.
Mikey Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 I've read about 20 times that the players aren't motivated and don't seem to give a shit already tonight. It's bollocks. The players looked up for it from start to finish, we just can't stick the ball in the back of the net. That is all. Exactly. You could see all our players were up for it from start to finish. We created a lot of chances but as you say, the ball just wouldn't go in the net.
StroudFox Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Barry gave everything He did. I can see why you all love him. I love him now!! Barry is God!! I agree totally.
Bert Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 If any of our players need motivating, surely all they need to realise that we could possibly be playing League One football next season.
davieG Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 If any of our players need motivating, surely all they need to realise that we could possibly be playing League One football next season. But most of them wont
Moreton Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 But most of them wont Yep most will pack there bags and leave. Stearman and Mattock possible being amungst who would leave, for Aston Villa, who seem very Kean on the two youngsters.
Ultra Posted 12 April 2008 Posted 12 April 2008 Exactly. You could see all our players were up for it from start to finish. We created a lot of chances but as you say, the ball just wouldn't go in the net. Were they hell.. They only started playing in the last ten minutes. And even then, they left glaring gaps at the back.
filbertway Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Were they hell..They only started playing in the last ten minutes. And even then, they left glaring gaps at the back. Was this when they were pushing for an equaliser?
Narborough Bod Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 I also think Hume seemed up for it when he come on, but wot i can't understand is why Ollie would put Hayles up front when he was playing really well on the wing. Only thing is that I think King Baz was dead on his feet. But I could see his shin dying to wallop one in from 40 yards.
josh_baskin Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Call me harsh but is Matty Fryatt now Adi Akinbiyi in disguise?
