OriginalRobboFOX Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 Absolutely massive game in relation to our current situation... Ideal result?? A draw??
Tabou Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 I would have said that a win for Blackpool would be favourable. With things as tight as they are at the moment, surely having one team performing poorly is better than two teams nicking points here and there? Personally, I think it should be irrelvant. Holloway should be demanding 3 wins, and ignoring what else is going on in the table. Get 3 wins, then see where we are at the end of the season. The last thing the squad needs is to be resting on their lorrells, or, getting pressurised with results from other games that they have no control over. Or something.

It's better if Blackpool get a win and leave Wednesday right in it. A win against Barnsley and Wednesday would then see us safe

It will come down to what other teams do too... I think a draw personally cos then it keeps them both in the sh*t and if we win we'll leap frog them both....
Darkzzz_ Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 I really do think Sheff Wed will take the 3 points here... I will be gutted if they do as i hope a draw will do it.... I am really shitting mself.....
Phlashman Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 I don't think it's that important. What is more important is we beat Barnsley and Cov lose.

Yes i agree with that, but that game is important... how can you say it isn't!! We need to get the 3 points but we also have to keep a eye on the teams around us....
Shrenchel Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 A draw clearly the best result. Still quite fancy Blackpool to go down.
Tommy G Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 Blackpool win and then we rape the Owls over next week would be ideal. It won't happen however
FilboFox Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 I don't think it's that important. What is more important is we beat Barnsley and Cov lose. I agree with that... sod everyone else, we've got concentrate on OUR team winning... as long as we do that, we'll stay up! Lets hope that Coventry lose though as that'll be them all but relegated as their last two games are very tough!
Maybes Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 Probably like a draw to be fair. Keeps us in touch with both then.
lavrentis Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 A draw and Coventry lose. Lurvely. And we win of course.
He's not bald Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 A draw and Coventry lose. Lurvely. And we win of course. Lets just win...and pray!
Joe. Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 I'd have to say a win for either of them to be honest, it'd look more likely to be Wednesday to me. I just can't see us getting anymore than a draw tomorrow so if these two drew as well it would only leave us two games left to get out of the relegation zone all depending on how Coventry (who are likely to win)/Southampton get on also.
Sods Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 Sheff Wednesday win for me. We have to target Blackpool, nobody else.
LeeCovFox Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 Sheff Wednesday win for me. We have to target Blackpool, nobody else. My problem with that is, if Blackpool win a couple, we may as well accept relegation now. I want all of the sides above us to do badly. Even though we are in the bottom 3, its still in our own hands. If we can win tomorrow, and Wednesday lose, then we beat them next week, we are almost touching safety.
Scow Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 0-0 We need to keep as many teams as possible involved.
00rawat Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 0-0We need to keep as many teams as possible involved. yep ill echo that comment.
Fox You Forest Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 I have no idea why anyone would want a Blackpool win ? They have not won in the last 6 keep that winless streak going. Draw would best then a Sheff Win.
Flynny Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 This game is brilliant in that pretty much whatever happens has a plus side for us.

Yea like we have been able to do that this season !
dandannieldanok Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 Unlikely but.......if we beat Barnsley and Sheff Wed............and Sheff Wed don't beat Blackpool we won't need a result at Stoke.
davieG Posted 18 April 2008 Posted 18 April 2008 Unlikely but.......if we beat Barnsley and Sheff Wed............and Sheff Wed don't beat Blackpool we won't need a result at Stoke. 3 big IFS = Safety
