Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only reason we would get the same allocation is that the number is fixed, being determined by the stadium design. It's nothing to do with LCFC being benevolent. If roles were reversed, and there was a way for you to maximise your home support at the expense of the away fans, I wouldn't bet against you doing it.

I can understand why you feel aggrieved, but look on the bright side: We might actually be doing many of you a favour, as it could be quite painful for you to watch! ;)

The number is fixed because of the laws of away allocations. 10%. We've not got that, which is a damn good reason to get pissed off. We're not really that close to 10% either. At least a 1000 off which certainly would satisfy out support.

Yeah...you need a Season ticket to get the priority card! >_<

They should just register on their database how many games you've been to and judge your priority on that. Obviously STH deserve some benefits but i disagree with how its done atm... :nono:

They do register the games you go to. But I bet half the tickets aren't in your name are they. So that's not there problem.

thats the bottom line mate, in more ways than one

It's just the difference in numbers which gets me, 1600!!!!!! whereas wednesday do at least get 3,300 for our game DOUBLE what we get for stoke!

Barnsleys protest was about our fans getting cheaper tickets and their fans paying full price, completely different. Their allocation wasn't cut, they just only sold around 500 so in the end LCFC sold them to home fans.

3,200 is the 10% they're entitled to.

We've not been given that which takes the piss. If our club cared that much, they'd take it further but we'll just lie down again.

Thats what the bigger Premier League teams do I know Liverpool deffinetly use this method, they issue all members of the club a fancard at the start of the season and when you buy a ticket for home and away games and cup games the card records it. Leicester could do with this.

Andy you can hardly complain about stuff like this when you get tickets for under-16's just about every game! lol

You can't have it both ways... ;)

The average size of our away support wouldn't justify this.

Yea I guess, but this would be better than priority 1 cards and that. If a person has a priority 1 card and has been to 1 away game and then decides to use it against Stoke.

I have a ticket but I'm fuming that there will be 2 empty blocks at the Britannia next Sunday. It's so frustrating for both us and Stoke fans who would love to see their side be promoted. If we sold 1600 before they even went on General Sale, I'm sure we could have sold 2800, never mind the 2000 that's been suggested.

According to the Stoke fans in this thread, the reason we can't have anymore is because of the way the concourse is designed. In that case, why not switch us to the right hand side of the stand which would give us the larger part of the South stand? In this respect, it was selfish on Stoke's part.

However I'm sure the biggest cause of this diabolical situation is pure imcomptence and a huge lack of communication between the two clubs and the police. What would have been wrong with giving us till Saturday to see if we sell 2800 and then whatever isn't sold could be given back to Stoke to sell the remaining blocks of the stand? To sell them and not give us the chance to get anymore tickets is outrageous considering they told LCFC that it was our initial allocation.

You know people are pissed off about not having a ticket, so why brag about having one?

To be fair, maybe he didn't read the thread and didn't know the situation!

If your all going Stoke clap your hands!

Row R

Tit.

Anyway I think all said have done the least Stoke could have done is reduce the separation and maybe employ some extra stewards. I've got tickets, but I'm fuming that there are people out there who've been to just as many / more games than me who haven't got tickets and there's going to be a load of empty seats that aren't actually required. If it was Man U V Roma I'd understand but I'm sure some heavy handed stewarding could extinguish any problems that may arise for this game.

The only people to blame for lack of tickets are Leicester City. Stoke probably did initially offer us 2,000 + tickets but we more times than not take the smaller allocations.

I'd be very surprised if that was the case given that it's the last day of the season and relegation could hinge on it, especially since they would have known then that we were taking more than 1,600 to Sheffield United and possibly had an idea of the relatively huge numbers going to Barnsley. Also it looked even more like it would hinge on the last day before last weekend.

The sentiment of the post is right though. Sometimes you have to put in the hard yards to get the privileges and this is just one of those times.
