Kisnorbo, what's the prognosis?

Steve Walsh seemed to think it was a cruciate ligament injury and said that 8 months is minimum for an injury of that kind. I really hope not because he's been one of the most consistant players for us IMO, great defender and one we should definately try and keep hold of.

Didn't sound good that's for sure.

And what a shocker we had today, it was all going so well. I was thinking 'Performance of the season' in the first 25 minutes, sounded great. Chances galore and then it just went tits up. Gutted, I really am.

I hope he's playing again soon.

It was clear today just how much we miss him being in the heart of the defence.

I said as soon as N'Gotty came on that we were screwed. He's lost it, he's too old, hasn't got the sense on mind anymore to defend at this quality.

In the press conference Ollie said it might be Cruciate - but will not know for definate until next week. Definately out next week whatever.

Worley or Stearz at CB for Stoke then

If they're good enough in those positions then go for it. But it's a big game to be throwing players that young into it. I'm not sure what's best to do.

its a simple choice, N'Gotty, Worley or Stearman are the only options we have to partner McAuley at CB

It's a shame. Our best factor has been our defence and that's because of only two players. I'm shocked we only have those players available, we should have got in an emergency loan defender for just such an occasion.

Based on last weeks reserve game Worley is no where near ready.

I take it we can't emergency loan anyone else in can we? Let's get that Plymouth defender who didn't want to be subbed on that time.

Waited around after the match - spoke to Kisnorbo as he came past on crutches and he said it is his crutiate.

With a squad as big as ours, we'll have a hard time pleading "emergency" to the football league and so on. :ermm:

Aw crap. Well it's definately in the hands of Southampton now then.

Stick Stears in the middle, we used to have hundreds of right backs. Must have a spare somewhere. Chambers?

Was in a box alongside Clemences Ray and Stevie and a bunch of wags.
