Ozwin Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Steve Walsh seemed to think it was a cruciate ligament injury and said that 8 months is minimum for an injury of that kind. I really hope not because he's been one of the most consistant players for us IMO, great defender and one we should definately try and keep hold of. Didn't sound good that's for sure. And what a shocker we had today, it was all going so well. I was thinking 'Performance of the season' in the first 25 minutes, sounded great. Chances galore and then it just went tits up. Gutted, I really am.
syston_fox Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 All i know is that he was helped back to his car on crutches
Jack Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I hope he's playing again soon. It was clear today just how much we miss him being in the heart of the defence.
lookwhaticando Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 He won't be available for Stoke. He's probably buggered for a while. :pinch:
Ozwin Posted 26 April 2008 Author Posted 26 April 2008 I said as soon as N'Gotty came on that we were screwed. He's lost it, he's too old, hasn't got the sense on mind anymore to defend at this quality.

Ozwin Posted 26 April 2008 Author Posted 26 April 2008 If they're good enough in those positions then go for it. But it's a big game to be throwing players that young into it. I'm not sure what's best to do.

I'm not sure what's best to do. its a simple choice, N'Gotty, Worley or Stearman are the only options we have to partner McAuley at CB
Ozwin Posted 26 April 2008 Author Posted 26 April 2008 It's a shame. Our best factor has been our defence and that's because of only two players. I'm shocked we only have those players available, we should have got in an emergency loan defender for just such an occasion.
davieG Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Based on last weeks reserve game Worley is no where near ready.

Ozwin Posted 26 April 2008 Author Posted 26 April 2008 You know what I mean. He's just lost his nack. IMO of course.
Jimmy Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Based on last weeks reserve game Worley is no where near ready. what would you do then Davie
ronnup Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Stick Stears in the middle, we used to have hundreds of right backs. Must have a spare somewhere. Chambers?
Ozwin Posted 26 April 2008 Author Posted 26 April 2008 I take it we can't emergency loan anyone else in can we? Let's get that Plymouth defender who didn't want to be subbed on that time.

Ozwin Posted 26 April 2008 Author Posted 26 April 2008 Waited around after the match - spoke to Kisnorbo as he came past on crutches and he said it is his crutiate. Aw crap. Well it's definately in the hands of Southampton now then.
General Smuts Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Stick Stears in the middle, we used to have hundreds of right backs. Must have a spare somewhere. Chambers? Was in a box alongside Clemences Ray and Stevie and a bunch of wags.
