Father Ted Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Before the match, I could certainly feel tension between the fans, such a big game for us both, Sheff Weds fans feeling brave and singing songs while the Leicester fans were also singing. There was a weird air of tension. Anybody else feel it?

Leicester Lass Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 I think there was certainly a bit of tension afterwards - so 5 police riot vans, 2 police cars and 1 unmarked police car driving past us tells me, anyway.

With all the fans there all the blue and orange, i felt like i was back at Wembley. The last home game of the season is always the best. Great atmosphere, usually a sell out, and lets face it, the result wasn't good but what an entertaining match. 2 missed penalties, 4 goals, some great saves, a lot of corners, it was just a great match.

Raj Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Im sure if you are a professional footballer its atmospheres ad occasions like today which you dream about playing in(Obviously Cup finals etc) Its what makes the differences between heroes and cowards,who can perform in such an intense atmosphere with so much riding on the outcome. Our players fcuked up big time today BUT the cvnts can redeem themselves in what im sure will be equally intimidating circumstances next sunday. BASTARDS!

It might have made good TV for neutrals and owls. It was an absolute horror show for anyone who has ever felt affection towards our team or club.
