Corky Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 At least we won't have to put up with him anymore. There is some good news from this awful season.
lavrentis Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 At least we won't have to put up with him anymore. There is some good news from this awful season. Will it be Piper and Walsh next season, I would laugh.
Corky Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Will it be Piper and Walsh next season, I would laugh. That would be better, people who actually care about our club and wouldn't deflect criticism or defend the players when they've been terrible. I wanted to throttle Oakley after that interview, and I'm normally the calmest person around.
Darkzzz_ Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Is Barber actually going for good then?? Someone please fill me in, in a non sexual way of course!!
Corky Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Yes he is, thnakfully, told us in his matchday column that he's got a PR and marketing job in Dubai (more fool them), so you can relax.
MC Prussian Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Barber's off to Dubai? The first rat to leave a sinking ship.
Corky Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Barber's off to Dubai? The first rat to leave a sinking ship. Probably before someone either pushed him off or held his head under water.
Legend_in_blue Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 You've got to feel sorry for the Birch. Taking all those calls and then having to go and start off the Player of the Season awards. What a drive that must have been!
Daggers Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 There was no way I could listen to this after the weekend...the lobotomised are out in force.
clazkel Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 I agreed with the caller called Max, he made sense saying Ollie should play Hume and Fryatt upfront, and he doesn't understand why Mattock has been dropped for Clapham. Well said to him!!!
