Moreton Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I'm afraid that because of our relegation that the players that i have grown to like over the last couple of years such as Hume, Kisnorbo, McAuley, Mattock and Stearman might clear of. I don't want them too, i'll be upset if they do.
Fat Ron Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 4 players I dont want to Leave.. Hendo, Mattock, Stearman & Hume... We should be building a side around these guys.. The rest are overpaid underperforming losers.
BigGibbo Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Anyone thats given a chance to stay in this league will there's no honour among footballers the rest will just say how they couldn't leave us in the mess they got us into but it will be bullsh!t.
SamL Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Anyone thats given a chance to stay in this league will there's no honour among footballers the rest will just say how they couldn't leave us in the mess they got us into but it will be bullsh!t. That's exactly what I think. The majority of players can go, they're wastes of space. The only ones I'd keep would be Hendo, Mattock, Weso, Stearman and Hume.
Sly Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Why not McAuley? For me he's been one of our most consistent performers this year. I'd have been tempted to throw him upfront yesterday!!
Jay Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Stearman will be gone and I can't blame him at this stage in his career with bigger clubs sniffing round him he doesn't deserve to play in League 1 he has given his all for us since his debut and deserves the chance to better himself and develop his career. Kinorbo will still be at the club until January because of his injury. BUT while the emphasis will be on bouncing back I am in no doubt we will need to make some quick cash by selling a few players this summer
Matt Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Oh well you've grown to love them over 2 years, havn't we been shite for 4 years? You've named 5 players, half a team, surly they have to take their part in us being shite in the last 2 years? Yes their probably our better player's but at the end of the day if we're still shite that IMO they need to go, every single player including out better players. Their all poisoned, and when a new player comes in they get poisoned by the mentality of the players we currently have, we need a fresh start, which is why we really do need Milan. This is also the positive and advantage of us going down, If we managed to scrape out of the relegation battle I would have expected to see a few contracts paid off but obviously even Milan hasn't got enough money to pay everyone's contact off, but now we're down our players who got us into this position will be thinking 'League One? I don't wanna be playing in League One - **Calls their agents - Get me out of this club and league**' and of they go to some other club where some other poor fans paying hard earned cash will have to put up with them. We will need to re-build, and that will be a long process, but IMO the only proper process which in time would bring the reward!
sdb Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 keep kissa, hume, mccauley and mattock. the rest can fook off. the team we've got on paper should've had a crack at going up this season (half of them did it last year), but they couldn't give a shit. that's why we're down, and it'll be the same next year - talented players who have no spirit, heart or ambition with lcfc. get the youngsters in. not only are they talented but they'll have a bit of leicester in them which can't be bought with fat derby strikers
