Craig Posted 30 March 2005 Posted 30 March 2005 You lot will probably think i'm kinda mental here... But is it impossible?? 6 home games, at the start of the season we'd expect to win them all. 18 points. 3 away games, brighton and plymouth we'd expect to beat, sunderland if we're on a run we could do it. That's 71 points for 9 wins. Derby say 75 will get them in the playoffs. Could we perform a miracle? Unlikely i know, but 2 or 3 wins and we're on a run, and after that, who knows.
Muz Posted 30 March 2005 Posted 30 March 2005 Been on the shandy again craig i see Never say never....
Scarby Posted 30 March 2005 Posted 30 March 2005 Possible but unlikely! anything can happen in the beautiful game
Craig Posted 30 March 2005 Author Posted 30 March 2005 Also... 2001-2002 // 75 points 2002-2003 // 74 points 2003-2004 // 73 points The boundaries are comming down slowly but surely. Even more staggeringly though... Our decent run in Jan/Feb lasted 7 games. Our awful run lasted 7 games. We're now 2 games unbeaten. 5 more unbeaten games to go to maintain this pattern. Leaving the last four to win because confidence is high.
Benji Posted 30 March 2005 Posted 30 March 2005 you dont even need to look at the time above your posts craig to get an idea of the time the league is very open, never write anything off!
Craig Posted 30 March 2005 Author Posted 30 March 2005 Let's just make the most of battering teams while we can, cos we won;t be able to do that to Man Utd, Arsenal, West Brom, Chelsea etc next season in the prem

I admire your optimism and I would love to see it come true, but realistically this is not going to happen.
SilverFox Posted 30 March 2005 Posted 30 March 2005 Playoffs?!?!? This is reality not a Disney film! I can see it now, Leicester City, the new mighty Ducks!
Jonbluefox9 Posted 30 March 2005 Posted 30 March 2005 6 home games, at the start of the season we'd expect to win them all. 18 points. Yeah but our home form has been terrible. Still admire the optimism though.
