stez Posted 12 May 2008 Posted 12 May 2008 ahhhh, andrew roachford! those were they day, we thought they'd never end. but they did. anyway, grass. mow it twice a week til june. rake it out in the october to remove moss. feed it a couple of times in the year. owt else?

Anyway,best lawnfeed weedkiller type product PLEASE?????? hmmm, the thing is you see i tend not to use (and thus know about) domestic weedkillers. i have fancy nuclear stuff all organic of course! . anyway it depends how big your lawn is as to what you wanna use, but i'd suggest a liquid weed and feed that you mix up in a watering can (or knap sack) your self, rather than the granular stuff, which means you have to judge when it's going to rain and all that jive, instead of just getting the job done. also when you have killed the weeds off have some compost/soil/grass seed mix ready to pop in the bare patches where the weeds were otherwise there'll be another weed in there as quick as you like!
