A minority of septic fans sing these songs when playiing in citys like London and Birmingham which were bombed in the 70s/80s/90s causing great loss of life. While I have said on previous posts there are two sides to every story but I would find it hard for any septic fans to condone chanting in praise of an organisation that has caused death and destruction and misery to the lives of British and Irish people

But the Rangers minority are celebrating fascism, a German political party that saw to the deaths of millions of British people, racism, ignorance, discrimination and prejudice. The Celtic minority are celebrating Ireland's "liberation" and it's war against it's neighbor for a territory it perceives it owns. As a neutral, I find it somewhat difficult to come down on the "side" of the former if forced to pick either. I'd like to say I wouldn't condone singing the praises of the National Front or the Provos but I certainly find it easier to sympathise with war-fueled anger than racist, Seig-Heiling, skinhead twats. Moreover, I think it's fair to say that a few songs about "the RA" are far, far, FAR less damaging than stampeding en masse against a City's police force. You've a massive lack of perspective if you're arguing that.

Tickets are cheap as drt and they've just expanded the stadium, but I imagine its like the football was in the 80's over here. God i want to go back, wouldn't call myself a left winger really, its just something different to the rest of the world and I loved it! :mrgreen:
