Leicester City Football Club...an introduction

We are potentially a big(ish) club, we have won cups at Wembley, We have been into Europe (not for long but we got there), We THE FANS deserve better as our previous manager acknowledged.

Things you must ensure happens!!!

1. The players have to come back down to Earth and realise that just putting on the shirt does not mean that the game has become any easier because you are playing for Leicester City, Our current side has not tried as hard as the opposition in the last 6 seasons that is why we eventually went down.

2. The fans are wonderful at times and equally as awful. This coming season I have doubts that our fans will raise their game due to their perception of what "the club" was. We WE'RE in the Premiership, and our fans and players raise themselves in previous seasons for a Premiership occasion, hopefully we do not equally lower ourselves for League 1. However when it counts the fans will be there with you 100% even in the worst times.

3. The next manager has to sort out the useful influences at Leicester from the bad apples. Allen did this well IMO transfer listing all the awful dross.

4. Get a mutual understanding with the chairman! We all know what he is like, but he is the owner and we all have to live with it. He is the big dog at LCFC, he will back you! If you succeed all is good if you fail you're sacked, at least you get backed financially here!

5. The future of the club is the most important thing! To go up and up as Milan wishes may be a wonderful idea that he has blurted out, however if we are to regain any pride or standing in football we need to be able to compete in any league we get promoted into. Lets not get ahead of ourselves, lets give the smaller teams respect and beat them with skill and effort.

[stuff]

I don't care what you've written, I'm all about your avatar and sig combo. Good lad.

This Red movement will bring about a revolution in Third Strip designs yet!

Can't argue with that really. If only it were that simple. Tell a manager and players what's needed and they'll do it. It's rare nowadays that a manager sets out his aims, such as those and either achieves them, or is given time to achieve them.

I'll take a bet we won't have a red kit.

First thing the new manager needs to do, is install a winning mentality back in Leicester City.

Edit, I mean, Billy Davies needs to do.

Next season.

I'll even have a bet on what colour it will be... :ermm:

I know what colour the third kit is next season, and it is shit.

"Leisure" colour be bollocks'd - we have a sodding club shop full of things in "Leisure" colours - this was an opportunity for them to grasp a piece of successful history that has been forgotten by so many fans. It'd have gone down a bomb.

But I'm focussing on the Second Strip for 2009/10 now
